Understandably it's a 2005 I believe the original owner
Understandably it's a 2005 I believe the original owner took very good care of this truck and then somebody else owned it for a year and the sheriff's department got a hold of it and sold it at auction. I didn't buy it at the auction I bought it from somebody that bought it at the auction anyhow they had made it look really nice I didn't really want a Titan I wanted a frontier. Let me just say this engine in this truck is a lot it is a kick-xxx engine however they had told me they had just put brakes and brand new tires on this truck and I could see the tires were brand new they said the oil had just been changed I took it in early for an oil change right before the due date I don't put very many miles on it it had already had 220,000 when I bought it I took it to Monroe and they told me that it every fluid in it needed flushed that every fluid in it had water in it I beg to differ since I even though I'm a woman my dad owned a transmission shop and I always check the fluids in my vehicles that's one thing he taught me from age 10 up and when I got the vehicle away from the shop I checked the fluids myself and they all had water in them what the heck? I'm having problems with the power steering and I'm having problems with the brakes and the four-wheel drive does not work I'm not a mechanic but I did get on the feed and read all the reviews about the four-wheel drive in these trucks I wish I would have read it before I bought the truck it could be an easy fix I don't know all I know is if I go to take it to a shop they're going to tell me such and such is wrong and charge me $5,000 it's not going to happen if there is a problem with anything and I really think there's a problem with the transmission as well I think it's going to start slipping here soon beings at my dad was a transmission Builder and owned his own shop I know a lot about Transmissions it sucks that I can't check the fluid on my own I actually have to take it in a shop to have the transmission fluid checked. I absolutely love the idea of the truck I live in Ohio so it would be really nice to have four wheel drive because without it this truck does not handle well in the snow and the value is now down to at least half of what I paid for it and I've only had it for a year I'm about to post it for sale and a man can work on it I'm sure it's not a lot that's wrong with it I know all the fluids do need flushed the brakes need replaced I'm going to have that done I'm not getting the four-wheel drive fixed though that's where I draw the line it was working when I bought it but when I went to go use it it didn't work anymore so I guess they did a quick fix on it just to get a sale also the engine is so strong it puts out a lot of heat and it makes the hood and the roof of the truck burn the paint of, that is something I don't like. I'm going to see if there's any recalls I see there's a bunch for the 2006 which makes no sense since they're pretty much the same truck I bought brand new headlights the whole unit for the vehicle because the old ones you couldn't even see out of driving at night. I look at it this way any truck a full size truck that's four wheel drive and has over 200,000 miles on it that's been well taken care of should not have problems with their transmission or any of the fluids or Oils if four wheel drive should be intact working well I don't see why this vehicle should have these problems when it was not used as a work vehicle it was used to tow something every once in a great while if that I haven't used it to tow anything I would be afraid to at this point luckily I only work 4 miles away. Also the windows roll down by themselves you never know when it's going to happen it's not because of the key fob.

Don't buy 2005 titan
Numerous problems with my 2005 titan. Front diff went bad, rear seals caused rear diff to go bad. Frame is rusted, constant electrical problems, cracked exhaust manifolds and faulty brakes (where they are applying pressure to the point of minimal exceleration, still dealing with this now)

I bought my 2005 Nissan truck, Total package in 2009 and sold it in 2022.This was The Only vehicle that got out of the snow and alot of ice. Started Every time. I was bullied into selling it but will not drive until I can get the same. Great, Safe (eyecatcher) truck and fun. withe kids. I hope I find another. You will not regret this Nissan Truck.
