I keep cars for between 250k to 300k with no major issues
I keep cars for between 250k to 300k with no major issues besides normal wear and tear items. I blew an engine at 92 k, while doing 35 mph. Blew an transmission at 180 k and the new engine was going out at 192 k. I had more recalls on this car than I did with my 3 previous vehicles combined. There is a reason kia has a 10 year 100,000 mile warranty.

Beware Kia non support
Nice car, no electronics because KIA does not support 10 yrs or older Kia vehicles. So, all the electronics are obsolete. AVOID older Kia cars unless you do not care about safety or security. Theft / car find etc.

Disappointing Vehicle.
I have a 2014 Kia Soul. It WAS a good car until 2020. The engine light came on. Issue is Computer. The car will run fine for a few months. All is well. The car then doesn't acellerate. I keep having the same issue. Computer, not properly reading . It's getting to the point where I will trade this hunk of junk in. I am very disappointed in this vehicle. I had a PT Cruiser that out performed this car. I would not recommend this vehicle.
