Seller’s notes about this car

2014 GMC Terrain SLE-2 that runs well with no mechanical issues. I recently replaced rear seal and other seals related to engine oil system in addition to having the timing chain, and water pump preventatively replaced. The car has been regularly maintained for the life of the vehicle, including oil, tires, and brakes. Currently has tires with 20,000 miles left on their 50,000 mile rating. The vehicle has a clean title; it was formerly driven by my grandmother and was passed to me when she stopped driving. It’s a great daily driver. It comes with 3 keys, a fast charging automatic phone mount, and some spare floor mats. The vehicle has heated seats and gets me 26 to 32 mpg on a regular basis. The vehicle has slight cosmetic wear and tear, including a crack in the windshield and some scratches on the body, nothing major. The vehicle has one engine code currently tripped (P0017) four the crankshaft sensor B; I have a cam and crankshaft sensor that come with the car. I just have not gotten around to installing them. On the interior console there is one button with the plastic cover broken off-this happened years ago while my grandmother was driving it and it never bothered me enough to fix it. Replacements on eBay run you around $20.

My 2014 Terrain has been a great car until now. The engine has a know defect . It is burning oil without any warning light . It could be very dangerous. Apparently it’s due to a piston problem.

Motor blown kept up with oil changes motor just went bad burning oil refilled next week motor gone carfax stated the same about oil changes was told these cars known for motors blowing and yet owe on the vehicle wasn't dri8n distance just family transportation

Two problems

Used to own this car

Just our power steering rack went at 120,00 miles costing $650 to fix and at 185,000 miles the transmission went. It is a comfortable car and looks great. Plenty of room.
