I expected much more from a Mercedes.
I expected much more from a Mercedes. They cut back on some features you would expect from a Mercedes that were there recently and are there no longer. Examples, door projection lights on rear doors, digital key, car wash mode, walk away door lock. There are others. Now for the most crazy one. The remote start feature! When you use this feature and you touch the door handle the motor shuts off. What is the logic behind this? Why would you remote start a car only to have it shut down when you touch the driver side door handle to drive off. Then there is the HOLD feature. Why do you have to re-apply it every time you come to a complete stop and have it stay on until you turn it off? I have these features on my BMW and they work as you would expect. What was MB thinking! Then there is the question of the radio/media. There is no on/off switch. It comes on when you start the car unless you lower the volume to zero before turning off the car. I really dislike the touch screen. I prefer buttons, knobs and switches. The most important things like the ride, handling, and interior quality are simply great. In my opinion it's the little things that separates my Mercedes from my BMW, where BMW comes out on top.

Owned for 2 months, replaced a 2023 Buick Envision
Owned for 2 months, replaced a 2023 Buick Envision Avenir. Much better car, more comfortable, more luxurious. Used to Drive Lincolns, stopped as they are now made in China. Compared to Jaguar and Cadillac, clearly better car.
