I purchased my Nissan Frontier SV Crew Cab 2WD Long Bed
I purchased my Nissan Frontier SV Crew Cab 2WD Long Bed new in 2007 and still have it today (2025). It's been well maintained and been driven only 65,000 mostly highway miles and some off road with very few problems. In June 2015, I had an external transmission cooler installed in the truck to bypass the radiator and prevent potential problems with coolant contaminating the transmission fluid. Do not purchase a 2005-2007 Frontier without inspecting the transmission fluid first to be sure it's OK. The external cooler is a reasonably priced fix that will head off future problems.

Disappointed
Had a 2000 frontier that had 300k miles when i gave to my daughter. She still uses it. A really good quality small truck. Due to that experience I bought a 2007 Frontier LE. WOW!! This truck was not of the same quality standard as the 2000 one. Tranny issues, radiator leaks as will as an evaporator core leak. All this within the first 100K miles. Finally sold it and bought a Toyota Tacoma. Will not buy another Frontier or Nissan product again. Good luck to all who buy Nissan.
