This 2014 Honda Civic LX is a reliable and fuel-efficient compact car, available as a sedan or coupe, that delivers a comfortable and practical driving experience. It comes equipped with a 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine producing 143 horsepower and 129 lb-ft of torque, paired with either a five-speed manual or a newly introduced continuously variable transmission (CVT) for improved fuel economy. With the CVT, the Civic LX achieves an EPA-estimated 30 mpg in the city and 39 mpg on the highway. Standard features include Bluetooth connectivity, a rearview camera, USB and auxiliary inputs, power windows and locks, cruise control, and a four-speaker audio system with a CD player. The interior offers seating for five and a clean, functional design with 12.5 cubic feet of trunk space in the sedan. Safety features such as stability control, anti-lock brakes, front and side-curtain airbags, and a tire pressure monitoring system are all included. Thanks to its excellent reputation for reliability and low maintenance costs, the 2014 Civic LX remains a strong choice for commuters and first-time car buyers alike. During our 139-point vehicle inspection we found the battery was weak, the tires were thin, and the third brake light was out. So, we installed 4 BRAND-NEW tires, BRAND-NEW battery and third brake lamp! For peace of mind, we performed a coolant service and an oil change. We replaced the engine air filter, cabin air filter, and all wiper blades. To finish it off we detailed this Civic inside and out to make it shine! Great car, but small.

Civic LX sedan.Small car that is extremely reliable and handles like a sports car. Stereo is average. Seats are a little stiff. Low to the ground makes it a little hard to get in and out. Rides great, handles even better. 118,000 miles without an issue. 36 mpg combined every day. Dont care for CVT transmission, feels slightly sluggish but will get the job done.

Most reliable car that I own

Owns this car

Seven years old. Got it with 26 miles, now I have over 80,000. No issues, no major repairs, just routine maintenance - oil change, filters, tires and battery. Had my breaks checked and I still have 70% life left. The style or horsepower isn’t the greatest, but cheap and not having to spend money is nice! I wouldn’t trade this car in period. I hope to get over 150,000 on my original brakes..
