Let The Lessee Beware: Based on my experience avoid
Let The Lessee Beware: Based on my experience avoid Volkswagen My 15 month old 2024 Atlas cross sport had already been recalled three times. Then the relatively new car had to be towed and apparently had to have the turbo system replaced. It took TWO WEEKS to be assessed and undergo the warrantied repair. It was like pulling teeth every day to get any information regarding my car. I was told they are understaffed. I contacted corporate Volkswagen where the “highest client facing” person was supposed to advocate for me. In the end I had to pay my hefty monthly lease payment even though I had no access to use my car for two weeks, I had to rent a car since it’s up to each dealership to decide if they will loan you one of their very few “loaners” or compensate you for your rental car. Mohegan Lake Volkswagen/Audi had no available loaners-(and I was told they have to often cancel service appointments because of the lack of loaners available), and they do not reimburse for rental cars when loaners are not available. The person at corporate VW said alternate transportation is not in the warranty and waiving of the lease payment isn’t done anymore because when customers are surveyed reimbursement would not entice the customer to buy or lease another Volkswagen! Can’t say I’m surprised! Part of the pro for leasing as opposed to buying is not having to hassle with repair issues, costs and managing being without a car. I have leased more cars than I can count and have never experienced such poor customer service or a car with terrible reliability such as the Volkswagen 2024 Cross Sport. Based on this experience it is clear that from the top down Volkswagen does not stand behind the quality of their products or take financial responsibility for their vehicles. The corporation and those that are running it do not truly care about the customer experience nor is there any interest in building brand loyalty. I was hesitant to even look at Volkswagen vehicles in the past as I was under the impression that the cars had poor reliability. This reputation has unfortunately been proven to be true. Even worse than poor reliability of the vehicle, the customer experience is absolutely awful.

Excellent service.
Excellent service. Jens Albrecht provided an outstanding service. Great advice, quick and seamless process. Walk on a Friday and drove out the car on Monday. If you are planning to buy a VW, I would recommend asking for Jens

AWESOME SUV. LUXURY LUXURY SEL R LINE
Don’t listen to the complainers. It’s a great SUV!! This is my 2nd cross port. 1st was 2020 SEL tech pkg. now I opted for the SEL R Line. Car is great. It’s comfortable it’s classy the interior with the ambient lighting takes it up a few notches. Has all the safety options needed and more including the heads up display. Everything is pricey today so definitely not cheap. But the retuned engine is appreciated compared to the previous 4 cyl. Wish it was better fuel economy but not a deal breaker. The car is roomy organized and thought out of placing the more frequent “buttons” handy. The entire vehicle has been redone. Structurally the same but almost everything is a new! It’s been a week with the new model - looks like an Audi but more impressive than one. LOVE IT!!!
