“2020 Acura MDX — 86,000 miles and far too many issues. I’ve been to the dealer multiple times for recalls. The biggest problem: when the Engine Idle feature is on, the car shuts off at traffic lights. I went to Acura of Bay Shore (1930 Sunrise Hwy, Bay Shore, NY 11706) today and was told I need a new starter motor quoted at $2,189.26 + tax (total $3,038.24). I’m also seeing ongoing AIRBAG (SRS) warnings. I’ve filed safety complaints with Acura and NHTSA, and I understand there’s an open investigation into the idle-shutoff issue. If you’re experiencing the same problem, please file an official complaint with NHTSA at 1-888-327-4236.”

Purchased a 2020 Acura MDX in August 2024. Very reliable, luxury, decent on gas that has a nice V6 engine. I like the 2 screen display, the on and off button for the radio is fairly cheap. Love the LED front lights! So far so good!

My 2020 Acura MDX is one of the best cars I have ever owned. It has been trouble free and a pleasure to drive. One of the reasons I bought the vehicle was that I also really like the look of it.
