Continuing its veritable strip-tease campaign on YouTube, Kia has shown a little more — well, a lot more, actually — of the 2020 Seltos subcompact SUV. This very well might be the last tease, since it also announced that the full global reveal will be Thursday.

Kia says the Seltos is intended to be a global product and the video was posted by Kia Motors India, which said the reveal will be hosted live online here. The new little SUV that will give Kia another ‘ute and one that will slide into the hot U.S. market, as well as the global market, for small SUVs. The Seltos will share the showroom with the small Kia Soul hatchback and Kia Niro electrified line. Neither of those small hatchbacks offers all-wheel drive, so there’s room for differentiating the Seltos as a true SUV.

… Not that we know, since Kia has yet to specify significant specifications. As an SUV, the Seltos would have lots of competition, including from sister brand Hyundai’s well-received little Kona intended for urban and millennial shoppers who want SUVs. Earlier teaser sketches revealed an interior including a wide 10.25-inch touchscreen. Kia also has said the Seltos will offer LED lights front and rear, plus Soul-like “Sound Mood” color ambient lighting to match your music.

If you want to see more than a tease of the new SUV, spy photos caught a prototype. And the latest video shows details that are very much like the Signature Concept that Kia unveiled in Seoul in March.

A reminder on the Seltos name: Kia says it is a variation on Celtos, the “brave and assertive” son of Hercules in Greek mythology, but that they changed the spelling to an “S” to make a connection with speed and sportiness. We’ll see if it lives up to that on Thursday — and we’ll have full coverage of the Seltos unveiling on Cars.com, so check back here for the details.
