CARS.COM — Chevrolet has announced Redline appearance packages for nine of its cars, SUVs and trucks. Rollout of the special editions, announced at the 2017 Chicago Auto Show, will begin with the Silverado pickup truck and continue through 2017.
Chevy says the Redline special editions were inspired by the Redline concept it unveiled at the 2015 SEMA aftermarket show. All models will include black wheels with red hash marks, black nameplates with a red outline, blacked-out grilles and black Chevrolet bowtie logos.
Beyond that gear, there will be other design flourishes specific to the various models, such as red tow hooks on the Silverado and Colorado pickups, and black hash marks over the wheels of the Camaro Redline.
Chevy is the second brand to announce a series of blacked-out trim packages at the Chicago show, following Nissan’s Midnight Edition packages for six 2017 cars and SUVs.
