NEVER AGAIN, DO NOT GO

I was labeled an exporter and told I owned 4 GLS's... I was provided no PROOF and was also informed I had a car recently exported and again, NO PROOF PROVIDED upon request. I have one GLS in my name for my mother, her credit is not good and I did her a favor, what son wouldn't do that for his mother? she can afford to pay but because of PERSONAL reasons, her credit isn't strong. When confronted, I shown that I am currently leasing one (again for my mother) and have the insurance in my name since I have USAA and am a Veteran( who has a clean record ), you receive a $500 incentive off, so why not? Anyway, this dealership plays games, when explaining the situation, Jennifer Land told me my story was b's' and I'm lying.... Who is she to even criticize, this is life and life not perfect, my parents split and her credit was effected from the divorce. Also, I'm trading my darn car in on top of it so why would I even export anything? I work 3 jobs, I work HARD, I felt mistreated probably because of my age (i'm under 30) and the fact I can afford to pay for a 80K+ car. Anyway, Mercedes cannot even provide the information upon request and are playing games, I don't recommend doing business here. I'm financing the GLS too, I can understand the red flag if I was paying all cash but cmon. I did get loud with the staff but that's because I was mistreated, Jennifer Lang and Greg think they're slick but I'm not fooled. I understand the reason for caution but this is straight up RIDICULOUS.

Our goal here at Helms Bros. is to provide an amazing product as well as experience to our community here in the Queens area. There are certain restrictions imposed on us by Mercedes Benz that require us to be confident a vehicle is not being exported. One of the ways this is determined is looking at past vehicles exported. Mercedes let us know that the exact vehicle being looked at was purchased a month ago at another local Mercedes store. They had received confirmation that the vehicle had already been exported within a month of getting it. Due to that recent export, we are not allowed to sell you another one. We regret the frustrations this has caused. As a business, we create our success by delivering vehicles- it would never be our goal to intentionally not accomplish that . As a franchised dealership, we are required to abide by our corporate guidelines. We would never "play games" and we would never treat anyone differently due to their young age. WRONG, you notified me I owned 4 GLS's yet this whole issue is over the only GLS we have which is the one for my mother. So what about the alleged other 3? Please cut it out. I've provided PROOF OF INSURANCE (that it's still active) and even complied to the request of "Take a picture with a newspaper on the window and vin". I took a picture Dec 1st w/ Dec 1st newspaper (Greek American paper only sold in United States). What more do you people want? Your management is horrendous.

dreams come true!

Buying a car not is not easy, but Matthew mad it so easy! So thankful for his time and work, we got an amazing deal on Fausto's dream car (E class 350). ALL staff were so welcoming and friendly. We definitely recommend this place for anyone who is looking to buy a Mercedes with a good deal. thank you for your time! we love our car and so does everyone else haha!

Maurice delivered excellent service and professionalism that exceeded my highest expectations. He exhibited a wonderful level of patience. He answered every question which demonstrated his knowledge of not only the car he sold me but all that were displayed. Mike Altamura is the man!

Simply put, Mike Altamura is the best salesperson I have ever bought a Mercedes from. I used to lease my cars from Mercedes of Manhattan but I found Mike back in 2013 and 4 cars later, he has been top shelf for me and my family. Great guy who cares. Thanks, Mike!

Amazing.

Helms Brothers service center was the best services I have ever experienced, they were very professional, and very prompted ,made things very easy,helped me every way possible, and gave me shuttle service to and from my ,home,my service representative Sean Savage was a 10,I would recommend Helms Brothers to everyone who owns a Mercedes Benz.

Fantastic customer service

I went to Helms to buy my wife a surprise anniversary gift which I had to get that day. Kathleen was amazing and I walked out two hours later driving my wife's dream car at a dream price. "Bravo"

I would recommend Mr. Kelvin Nunez without any hesitation. Kelvin showed me an unparalleled level of individualization and professionalism. Prior to my purchase, he not only learned about my automotive preferences, but took the time to ask me about myself as well. That meant he could make informed suggestions as to which car and features would best suit my needs. Kelvin went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure the purchase and delivery of my car went smoothly. He was extremely generous with his time. He gave me two "driving" lessons making sure that I knew how to use every feature in my new car. He was so detailed that, remembering that I am a piano teacher/ pianist, he even tuned the radio to the classical station. It was a wonderful experience with Kelvin and Helms Brothers. Bravo!
