Purchase of Audi R8
Overall I had an excellent experience with this dealership in terms of the sales force and the front office people. Brian Smith was outstanding as a salesman from the very first contact to the final delivery of the car. He provided me with all information requested and was prompt and detailed in his replies to queries. An excellent salesman that I highly recommend. The only issue (which I believe has now been appropriately dealt with) that caused me to rate this dealership "good" rather than "excellent" was an absolute refusal by a backroom manager (who never had the decency to even talk with me) to allow me to have the Audi R8 inspected by a local independent Audi dealership with certified R8 technicians and service equipment, as a formal pre-purchase inspection. I was initially assured, during initial negotiations and before arriving in Dallas, that this was not an issue. On arriving at the dealership and deciding to buy the car (which was beautifully presented) I asked for this to be done. However the unnamed manager absolutely refused. After Brian had to go back and forth with this man he then stated that he would allow the dealership to send their mechanic to do the inspection at Hopper. Obviously Audi refused and told me that they had never heard of such a request. This refusal to allow an independent inspection immediately raised a red flag and I backed out of the deal. Brian Smith was extremely concerned and reconsulted with the manager who again refused to budge and was ready for me to walk away from the deal. It was only after I asked to speak with Mr. Gary Hopper (who unfortunately did not return my call) that all of a sudden the manager allowed the inspection. The car was inspected and passed with flying colors and the rest of the experience was excellent. The unpleasant experience with the manager delayed the deal by a day, created unnecessary stress for my wife and I, and soured the experience of buying an expensive and beautiful car from a dealership that is otherwise professional. I do not believe that when buying a $111,000 car at asking price it was unreasonable to expect that the dealership would allow the vehicle to be inspected by an uninvolved third party expert. I also think that it would have been nice for Mr. Hopper to have returned my call and apologized for the inconvenience and stress that made this purchase more difficult than it needed to be.

Best car buying experience ever!! Went in Monday after work and ended up having it delivered to me on Tuesday. King was so helpful throughout the entire process, and Derek in financing was amazing and made it happen. In love with my new Jeep and get sooo many compliments. Will definitely be recommending Hopper to anyone looking to purchase a car/truck.

I viewed over 2000 Range Rovers on the web. I used all of the online car sites I could find. I also searched for all private sales. My Range was the entire US. I was ready to go anywhere for what I wanted. My wife however.....well she is my wife. Always looking out for me. She was ready to buy a Range Rover we found here in Colorado. She was very much against the idea of buying site unseen and from somewhere that we would be far away from after the sale. Well, I too had the same concerns. It even made it harder that we had already found one locally we were ready to buy. The car we found at Hoppermotorplex was 3k more. this passed my wife’s top limit by 4k. But the car at hopper was low miles, top of the line of the Range Rovers vs the 2nd up from the bottom of the line locally. Also only had 16k miles on an 2014 vs the 45k locally. So I called BRIAN SMITH. Best car buying experience I have ever had. Instantly brought a relaxed feel for an uncomfortable situation for me. Was easy to trust. Brian gave me no lines, no hype, no bull. He was honest and straightforward. There was some initial confusion about the strange vin numbering system from Land Rover. Oddly enough, there vin starts with SALVT....now with all of the hurricanes lately, there are thousands of salvage vehicles on the market right now and the vin was confusing me. I called 3 dealers and they all said it was a salvage indication. I told Brian. Brian asked someone and they too said it meant salvage. Brian then called me and the car was already sent to auction. He said let it go. But then called back after the GM almost had a kiniption fit. Hopper Motorplex NEVER would sell salvage! So Brian called me back immediately to clarify. He made buying that car, site unseen, as easy as if we were right there. we then flew down with a check, spent only about a couple of hours purchasing the car and drove 1000 miles home in our new car. It was exactly what I expected thanks to BRIAN SMITH. we would do that again without any worries. And actually, Brian will be my FIRST call when I need any vehicle in the future. That car had 30k less miles than it should have. All of their vehicles on the lot were all hand picked gems. This was a great experience. Love the car. Fear not Brian and Hopper motorplex have your back.

Best new / used car experience ever by far
I was initially looking to purchase a used Yamaha R1, I recently sold my 2012. Who knew that I would end up purchasing a 2012 Mercedez CLS550. By far this is one of the best new / used car purchase experience I've had in my 35 plus years of purchasing a vehicle. I decided to go with the trade in / purchase and down payment because the way that Sean Adams handled himself he new his inventory, he knew his vehicles, he knew his job and most important he was not stalking nor was he pressuring I honestly said to him that this is too good to be true. This dealer ship is the real deal ladies and gentleman.

I was searching for a specific vehicle. I found what i was looking for at Hopper Motorplex. I live in CO, theyvare located in TX. Even though i was purchasing via the internet and over a long distance, it was an easy process. Ernie did an amazing job helping get everything lined out. I flew in on Friday evening and drive home in my new truck saturday morning. I would highly recommend Ernie and the team at Hopper.

Brian made the process of purchasing my car so easy. Keep in mind I live 700 miles away and did everything over the phone. Once my car came in it was better than described.
