They got my car for me very easy

I live in Palo Alto and I shop Magnussen and Putnam Lexus they could not make me a good deal and they can not get the car I wanted. The Manager doesn't want to deal with me. I went to Coliseum Lexus in Oakland they are easy and very nice people to deal with. I spoke with the Manager and no hassle the payment was very low and they included the service in my payments. They were able to get the car I wanted very quick.

Great Group of People Excellent Price & Service

I had to take the time to write a review because this was by far the best car buying experience that i have ever had, the Sales Manager Bob actually called me himself after i submitted online a request for a price quote. I respected his consideration for my time, he explained his Internet Team were all bust helping customers so he wanted to reach out himself and answer any questions that i may have, i told him no problem it had only been maybe 10 mins since i clicked submit..lol then told him what i wanted he told me he didn't have what i wanted here but he could get one for me in 24 hours. I made my appointment for the next day and there was my car !!! exactly the color inside and out ! This store by far exceeded my expectations and the Manager was a big part in my decision to visit this Dealership, i could have easily purchased in my home town but i honestly felt the service by this team would be much better. So Thank You to Bob and your staff i really appreciate your professionalism.

Great non-buying experience

Eric Hanson provided excellent customer service in response to my cars.com enquiry on a car. He even went out of his way to help me with information on the car I ultimately went with at another dealer. The only reason I didn't purchase at Coliseum Lexus was that my budget couldn't quite stretch to their fairly priced Internet deal. I will certainly keep them in mind for another purchase and recommend them to friends and family.

Great customer service

I was in contact with Eric while shopping for a car. While we could quite get there it wasn't for Eric's lack of trying. He provided excellent customer service to me and went above and beyond to answer questions--some of which I hadn't even thought to ask. I will certainly keep them in mind for future purchases or if the hunt continues since they have earned a fair measure of my trust.

Go somewhere eles............

Making long story short……. Absolutely no respect from the sale person and the manager, wasted almost six hours and wanted to walk away, but did not, because they were 10 minutes away from our home and have the car we’re looking for. 8 months when by, and brought the car in for 1st complementary free service after 8 months with 10k on the odometer. Four hours later they call us up and say the car is ready to pick up. When we got there, I immediately notice all they did was a quick car wash and nothing else was done on the car. The check list indicates that they did oil and filter change, tires rotate, air filer check…… and other xxxxxxxxx. How do I know? I left chalk marks on certain areas that they can’t avoid not touching it. I also losing one lug nut each from a front and a rear wheel that if they did rotate those tires, those two lug nuts should have been tightening again. I pointed out all the stuffs they checked off on their check-list which they did not perform right there and then, and show them the proof. I reported to the manager and also filed a complaint with Lexus head-quarter on this Lexus dealer. Just in case you might ask, yes I’m an auto mechanic myself, and I do all the maintenance on all of our cars, and this is NOT the first luxury car we own.

awful! awful! awful!

I found a car I was very interested in and emailed the internet manager at the dealership about it. I live far away, so email was my best method of trying to find out details about the car and whether the price was firm or negotiable. It was during this process that my contact flat out lied to me twice to get me to drive to the dealership. He was rude, dishonest, and had no respect for me or my time. When I tried to clarify the truth of the matter in email, he was sarcastic and lied even further. I am a very successful business woman who is acustom to communicating with difficult clients daily, and I have never been treated so poorly or had someone be so blatantly dishonest. I was ready to buy a car this weekend, but because of this experience, this dealership will NOT be getting my business. Beware- they will lie, cheat, and steal their way into your checkbook - I don't even trust what they are saying about the quality of their cars now.

Super bad experience

Bought a GS, but forced to return the next day by saying the car can not be sold. Very bad experience. Don't recommend anyone to shop there.

I am giving this dealership 5 star. Sonny is the General Sales Manager and helped us out with Sales Person Satish. We arrived and he greeted us and wasn't the typical schmarmy dude with lame social skills (car dealerships are magnets for these types!). In fact, everyone there was smart, funny and very kind. They left us alone to wander around and check out cars on our own... a whole lot of inventory on the lot but enough for us (we were looking at IS 250 CV) .They are doing even more business these days, so we were shocked at the low cost of our car AND that Sonny immediately agreed to give us another reduction in price. Everything went swimmingly! I highly recommend Coliseum Lexus of Oakland especially buying car after 15 years; my husband is very knowledgeable about cars and much experience negotiating. By the end, he was informed, confident and happy. Thanks again Sonny! KD
