I had a terrible experience at Toyota of Hackensack.
I had a terrible experience at Toyota of Hackensack. I was working with a sales representative named Catherine Watkins, who initially presented a counter-offer on a vehicle that seemed reasonable. However, after I agreed, I was told she had “made a mistake” and that the actual price was 389$ higher than what was offered. The charge is another “mandatory” total loss protection plan what all customers must purchase. To make matters worse, the final price was loaded with excessive and questionable charges —599$ dealer fees. For a cash deal. No registration required (I am from another state and I was taking care of registration myself) It felt dishonest and manipulative from start to finish. This dealership clearly uses bait-and-switch tactics and lacks transparency and professionalism

They sold me a defective truck.
They sold me a defective truck. They blamed rodent eating the wires. 1 yr later the the wiring went again and they blamed rodent eating the wires again. They promised me photos. Never received them. I made second request and still haven’t received the photos. One week later after they “fixed” the wirering for the second time, the lights on the dashboard were back on. I’ll never go there again and I will continue to tell everyone how badly they treated me and sold me a defective vehicle.

Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately, rats and squirrels chewing through wires is something we have seen over the years. Depending on where the vehicle is parked, rats and squirrels do tend to nest in vehicles since it is warmer inside. Perhaps if parking the vehicle in a slightly different location is possible, you might see less frequency of this happening? We did e-mail pictures of the wires to you on 4/9. Since multiple pictures were attached, we can only assume it went to spam? If there is an issue with the warning lights coming back on from any work we performed, we would be happy to address the issue. We stand 100% behind the work we provide our service customers.
