Scammers

They wont stand behind the price advertised. Trying to add extra 2k for accessories on top of the advertised price. Save yourself a time and dont reach out unless you are ready to let extra mony go on top of the advertised price.

bad experience

they do not respect the price on the add i call before i go because was one hour and half drive and for nothing bad dealer

Piensa 2 veces al comprar carro.

Compré un carro Toyota Corolla 2017 usado con 44,000 . Dando un pago de $5,000 de entre en diciembre 2019 al mes utilicé el aire acondicionado el cual no enfría , llegué 3 veces a servicio y reclamos en el dealer el cual no se hicieron responsable de la reparación.

Don’t Trust the Listed Price!!!

We contacted this dealer about a car they had listed. My husband informed them that we would need to fly down to pick it up, so he was asking a ton of questions. The entire time, they told him the price was the listed price, plus just the taxes and typical dealer fees. Well then I located somewhere on their website where they state there’s an additional $80 fee and some others unidentified fees. Since we were comparing this car to the total cost of another option, I asked my hubby to inquire as to their out the door price, with ALL fees because we’re not going to fly down there unless we know exactly what we’re paying. It was at this point (same day as the first call) that they informed him of all these additions they suddenly made to the car that increased the price by $800. So the total out the door was SIGNIFICANTLY more than the listed price. 🙄 Totally unacceptable business practice. Reading the other 1 star reviews, this is common practice by this place. They claim to have a car, then when you arrive looking for that car, they have reasons as to why you have to spend more money (car is suddenly gone, but here are others that cost more...oops, we added some expensive upgrades to it, so the price increased...etc). By the way, the car is still (after speaking with them on the phone about this increase) listed for the original price. They have not updated the description to include the additions or increased the advertised price to reflect the new price. Totally scammy!

Bait and Switch Beware

We called on a used Honda HRV that was listed at around 13k. They assured us they had the car on the lot. We told them we would be there within an hour. When we arrived, they said the car was on the lot, but that they were looking for the keys. I asked where the car was, I told them I wanted to visually inspect it so I wouldn’t waste any of our time if it was not in good condition. They ask us to give them a few minutes. I waited 5 minutes then started walking the lot looking for the car. They rushed out to “help” look for the car. Couldn’t find the car but found one 6k more expensive for us. They drove us around to look at two other satellite lots that the car might be at and tried to convince us that getting the more expensive car with a payment would be a great way to go (I knew this was a bait and switch within the first 5 mins, but my 24 year old daughter thought I was crazy so I wanted it to play out so she could learn a valuable lesson). When we returned to the dealership she said she would search their computer system to figure it out. I told them we were going to get some lunch and to call and let us know when they find it. They called 20 mins later explaining it ended up having frame damage so they got rid of the car and someone dropped the ball and didn’t take it out of the system. That car stayed on the website for the entire week (I snapped a picture of the VIN number). And now the same car weeks later is available at DCH Toyota of Gardena for 14.2k. Total scammers!

Don't trust "Toyota Certified" vehicles

Don't trust "Toyota Certified" vehicles. I bought a used Toyota Camry at this dealership a couple of years ago. I recently went to trade it in and found out that there was extensive damage to the frame of the vehicle (enough to make the car unsafe). The car title and car facts didn't show an accident on them and the car has never been in a crash while I have owned it. The frame damage was obvious in a less than 15 minute inspection, yet somehow this dealership failed to mention it when selling the car.

Helpful Staff - Great Prices - Highly Recommend

I would like to thank Toufik Cherchar, Ernesto Martinez, Ihab Harrran, and last but DEFINITELY not least, Christine Valenzona at DCH Toyota of Torrance for helping my family with our new Dog Rescue PUP-Transport today!!! They all went above and beyond anyone's expectations of Customer Service and made our experience an enjoyable one. Even our new foster recruit Milo had a great time! Beware of "All Used Car Sales are Final"

Very poor experience purchasing a used car from DCH Toyota of Torrance. After shaking on the agreement to purchase a 2018 VW Tiguan, the car was taken to be cleaned out and vacuumed while we worked with the finance dept and signed the paperwork. After getting the keys and driving off we realized that the passenger floormat was not returned to the vehicle after being vacuumed out. We called DCH Toyota, and were promised a replacement and would get a call back the following day; we never got a call. We called 4 more times over the next 3 weeks and were told "all sales on used cars are final", and now we're stuck without a floormat that was there when we agreed upon a price! Overall I would definitely not recommend buying anything used from DCH Toyota, they hide behind "all sales on used cars are final" despite things changing after a price was agreed upon and while paperwork was being signed.
