Horrible Experience with Ford Focus Transmission

Had my 2012 Ford Focus in because the transmission kept dropping out of gear. This is a known issue with this model. Rather than fix it as a ton of service bulletins say, they claimed that the clutch was out and it was $2100 to fix. This is an automatic transmission with less than 75,000 miles on it. If the clutch is bad, it is a defective product, and they've admitted it's a defective design on the transmission to begin with. The service manager claimed he asked Ford to pay for it on Ford Care - he made the request and my car sat there for over 6 weeks and never heard back. I finally called a lawyer and had the car towed to a reliable mechanic. I am only doing this review because Autonation Ford Wolfchase asked me to. My issue is still not fixed and I've been without this car for two months.

Great Repair Service

Garry does a great job. He listens to my repair needs and follows through to make sure they are all done satisfactorily. I always call on him whenever I need service. And the tech guys do a good job and have the skills to handle any job.

Ford F-150 Service

Autonation and Gary Douthitt gave me good service on my truck. I opted to wait in the customer lounge. When the service took longer than normal due to the volume of vehicles that day, Gary gave me a free oil change. Naturally, I will be going back there for my next service.
