AutoNation Service

Vehicle Maintenance

I love my vehicle, however, I am quite unsatisfied with the vehicle performance. I purchased my 2016 Ford Focus in September of 2017 and about 6-8 months I thoroughly enjoyed having the vehicle, however, after some time driving the vehicle, I noticed some issues with the transition. Every time I stopped at a red light or a stop sign and began to drive again, there has been resistance from the engine in accelerating and changing gears. I noticed that there was a recall on my vehicle due to a fault of the transmission. At first, I thought my vehicle was fine since I had not had any issues with the vehicle before. I wanted to bring the vehicle in to ensure everything was fine. I spoke to someone on the phone before hand and he mentioned that having some of these issues is okay due to the design being corrected (I disagree). So I brought the vehicle into the Ford dealership in Wolfchase on August 8th, 2018 and I pulled up and did not have any one speak to me. I wasn't sure where to go. No one was talking to me about why I pulled my vehicle up. I had to go inside and ask to speak to someone before I was acknowledged. I then spoke with someone about the issue. He assured me that the issue would be resolved and I left my keys with him as I left the country for a trip. When I returned, there was debris in my seats which I did not complain about at the time. The invoice stated they reprogrammed or tuned the issue (forgive me for not knowing the terminology). The first few weeks were fine, however, I started experiencing the issues again and more noises starting occurring in my vehicle that were not there when I first brought the vehicle in. I understand that not every vehicle is perfect, but I was at least expecting that the issue would be resolved and not an answer "Your vehicle is warranted up to 150k for the transmission, and if there is an issue, it will be fixed." I would like to have my vehicle issue resolved and to enjoy continuing business with Ford. I love the company and the vehicle overall. However, I wish for the issue to be resolved.
