Good costumer service until they lied.

We had great costumer service as far as getting a nice car with close to the budget we were looking for but we came in with an older truck for a trade in that we were told at another dealership that they could give us 4-5000 in a trade in. We just didn't find anything at that dealership in the price range we were looking for. We told them that is what we were told we could get for the truck. They told us they could give us 4,000 in trade in for the truck and they needed 1,000 in cash down to get it closer to the payment we were looking for. We agreed and signed the papers. I guess it was our fault because we didn't read every single line when signing but upon looking over everything when we got home they gave us 1000 less than agreed upon. We are highly upset. It just sucks that we can't trust their word. We should've known better. We plan on going back Monday and confronting them.

Service department

My vehicle went in on May 1st to have the ignition replaced and to reset the security system, I got a text that it was finally getting looked at on May 15th, I have tried every day for weeks to contact them and was about to drive the 2.5 hours to get an update, I finally got someone on the phone on May 25th that they were still waiting on parts.. that it could take 5 days. But from when I approved the services it's already been 10 days. This is a 2 hour job, at most, and if this hadn't happened 100 miles from home any other shop could've had it done in a fraction of the time. 3 weeks of trying to reach someone only to be lie to about parts availability is absurd.. the ignition piece is a common item to any other truck and the security reset is a computer reset (no parts)..

Poor Business Practices

Like most large dealerships you can’t believe anything they say. 6 hour round trip to go look at a car. The salesman encouraged me to make the drive so they could look at my trade in and I could test drive there’s. 2.5 hours into my trip I got a text that the car sold. Didn’t even have the guts to call and tell me. Poor service and salesmanship. I will never buy from Joe Cooper dealerships after this experience.

Don't trust the salesman

Phone calls to a salesman Blaine, about a used car, filled out the info online , he said my friend definitely qualified, come on down. Drove from Tuttle Ok to Shawnee to be told no, we didn't qualify. Hate being lied to an embarrassed .. with Blaine shrugging his shoulders and saying it was his boss fault. No he was the one that said we qualified and told us to make the drive.

Ask for Tara!

Tara Humble did a fantastic job with what I needed/wanted. She found a perfect fit for us and even got our payments lower than why we originally said. We left comfortable and protected in our new ride!

Horrible service and vehicles

We purchased a 2017 Cadillac and literally 2 days after we got it the it wouldn’t turn over and said service transmission. I called our sales person and told him hey this vehicle isn’t starting and when it’s jumped says service transmission. Was supposed to get a call back never did. Took care to Cadillac had to get $1100 of work on the transmission and the battery and alternator were bad even though we were told the vehicle was fully inspected and all service was performed there from the original owner who bought it there. Will never do business with them again

Looked at trading for a new or used truck. Got lied to by sales woman about price. Tara had no idea what she was doing ! Had my truck serviced there. I will never go back there ever ! They pretty much had no customers. Now I know why,

Conn's DO NOT GET A CAR FROM HERE

Was instrested in purchasing a car was sent a video of the car saying nothing was wrong with it by a sales man named Kevin Fryer schedule an appt. to come from the City to Shawnee, OK I explained to him what I was needing and looking for and what I was trying to spend on a car and that I am single mother of 3 girls and also pregnant with my 4th girl so it was very important that I get a car and were they willing to meet in the middle to make a deal on the price Kevin the sales man called me back and said today was my lucky day because due to the covid-19 their sales have not been great the car was 2008 Ford XLS Escape they lied about the car the engine was covered in oil where there was an oil leak and the oil was causing the car to have burn smell and the car was smoking and the was cutting off while driving which is very unsafe for a pregnant woman and 3 little girls this world has gotten very cold and evil DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THEM

Very positive experience

Kevin Frye was an outstanding salesman. He took the stress out of the process and took excellent care of us. He was personable, thoughtful, and respectful toward everything we needed.
