Joe Cooper Ford - Shawnee. My daughter purchased a Ford...

Joe Cooper Ford - Shawnee. My daughter purchased a Ford Fusion Hybrid. She drove the car but did not get out on the highway. After she purchased the car and she was driving home the car would not go over 65 mph due to the secondary key they gave her. The secondary key was programed as a teen safety so they would not speed. They told her she would have to purchase a master key which was over $250. We ended up getting the key at a different dealership for $160.00. I tried to resolve the issue with the manager and he agreed to call me back after he spoke with the GM but he never called me back to discuss it. One of the salesman, who had nothing to do with the sale of the car, attempted to help me prior to speaking to the manager was the most condescending and rude salesperson I have ever spoken to. Not only will I never do business with this dealership again I would suggest that you not only walk away but run away as fast as you can. They are the most unprofessional people I have ever dealt with.

Hours out of your day.

I called before I went. Spent 2 hours after the ones I called about were gone. They wanted twice as much as I told them.

Never use this dealership for vehicle repairs

I took my 1500 sierra pickup in for the starter to be replaced and I feel they over charged me. They charged me over $300.00 for labor when it takes less than thirty minutes to change a starter out. On top of that they charged me $180.00 for a re-manufactured starter. I look on line at prices for starters and could not even found one that cost that much. As a matter of fact I can get a new OEM AC Delco starter for the truck through AC Delco for under a $100.00. I will never use this service department again. So I paid over $500.00 to have a starter replaced. Maybe I should have been clued in when the first thing the guy told me when I got there is it was going to cost me a $140.00 for them to hook it to the machine whether I get the vehicle fixed or not. I have other cars and go to other dealerships to get them fixed and never been told this right off the bat. I have had better service at other vehicle dealerships.

Never again!

Dropped a vehicle off on Saturday for service. I was called that afternoon and informed they needed to talk to Ford and I would receive a call on Monday. Monday comes and goes without a call. Tuesday at 4PM I call them. 45 minutes later I give up on getting any information since service doesn't answer. The switch board operator even stops answering. I send an email and get a response right away that a manager will call me. 17 hours later and still no return call. I call and I am told that my service adviser will have to call me back. I will NEVER do business with these xxxxxxxx again! I have purchased three new and one used car from them not to mention the thousands of dollars I have spent with them in parts! I will NOT ever give my money to a business that treats their customers like this. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere!

Best car buying experience I've had.. Would definitely recommend.. Very quick to answer questions and had all paperwork done fast and accurate. Had me out of the door with my new truck in no time..

Terrible service does not honor their promises

Gave me an offer on my truck when brought back to conclude dropped it off 2,000 never answer or calls and transfer u everywhere Truck was bought in summer realized heater did not work two days later refused to fix and charged 800 Bad business

Very unsatisfied customers

This dealership is a joke. did not show me the vehicle I came to see. Would not show me any prices or discounts. No contact with finance people.

Joe Cooper Ford of shawnee is a joke for a dealership. I came across a truck online and it was at an unbelievable price, so I called and they said yes that is the price. I ask them to double check and if it was the prices I would drive 2 and a half hours and buy it. Well they told me it was right and it was that low because they want to be competitive. Okay so I drove 2 and half hrs they test drove my trade and after 20 min setting there they come out and tell me, Well sir we cant not sell that truck at that price or we will have to take a loss, but would u like us to work a deal for you anyway? He tells me they are protect in the clause at the bottom of the internet listings ( who care about the clause I just want to buy a truck). Is this how you do business trick people into coming? Well this is a joke also the truck still listed At the same price so they can trick more people. DO NOT BUY FOR THEM THEY ARE A JOKE. If your in the tulsa area do what I did go to Matthews Ford in broken arrow you will not regret it they WILL do you right.

never heard back

I contacted them about a used car that I saw online, I think it was a 2010 Maxima. I knew going into it and told them my credit would be an issue but you never know. They contacted me and ran my credit the salesman called asked about my trade said maybe not that car but something else and to give him 30 minutes and he would call me back and I never heard back from him, they just dropped me. I hated my not so good credit had to take a inquiry hit but it had to be done. I told him about my credit going into it so a friendly call saying they couldn't make anything work would have been nice. Salesman was ok when I talked to him, not overly friendly though.

Ethics were horrible. Very dishonest and left out key pointscaused unnecessary trip after being told everything was ok then acted like they didn't know what was going on
