20,000 mile check up

I find it very hard to make an appointment for servicing my car at Lexus of Birmingham. I called on Monday to make an appointment and to clarify some questions I had. After two tries, I finally got to a voice mail and gave my name and number the why I was calling. The recording indicated I would get a call back. No call back. This is the SECND time this has happened to me. I know I can make an appointment on line, but you can't get a loaner on line. Tuesday, I finally went on line and made an appointment for the service and waited for my car. While I normally don't need a loaner, I could have used one yesterday. They need to improve how phone appointments are handled.

Poor service

Poor service quality and communication. Repeated issues such as keeping vehicle for three days for a planned repair and when we call to coordinate pickup we are told parts not available and not idea when they would been. A month later after we do the entire drop off and pickup exercise again now the poor quality of work will cause a third visit. Not what you or I want and not what one would expect.

1998 lexus sc300

Dealership was comfortable and relaxing. The acceptance team was fast and courteous. Being able to obtain a loaner closes my maintenance deals.

Nail in tire

I had a low tire pressure signal while I was driving on the interstate and knew the Lexus dealership was a few miles away. The pressure kept going down and down, I turned into the dealership and said I didn't have an appointment, but needed my tire checked because I had to pick up at daycare in 30 minutes. It was determined I had a nail on the sidewall of the tire. The nicest young man checked my records and said I had a warranty that would cover the cost of the tire. I didn't even know I had that warranty!! He gave me a loaner car to go pick up at daycare and had my tire changed in an hour. BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!! Yes, the dealership had many customers waiting and even more customers coming for their afternoon appointments. This Lexus dealership has definitely spoiled me! My service advisor was Dennis Wingate. Super guy!
