Buy a truck off them few weeks later had to run all over

Buy a truck off them few weeks later had to run all over to find a key for to get tires off after brakes locked up yes after after a few weeks 4500 hundred later take in for oil change,glad i wasnt' their they tell my wife they can't rotate the tires bolts to rusty xxxxxxxx i had tires of easy dealer who fixed my brakes no problem.Last time i will ever deal with them.moral of story when i bought truck they said breaks in rotors were good.not only were brakes in rotors bad so were calipers and also bad break resorvoir.guess you live in learn don't trust anyones xxxxxxxx at a dealer.

Very Bad service experience

This review is of the service department, not the mechanics but the customer writeup personal. I also would look for a different dealership given the service I received from the service department. I have been in the automotive repair trade for 55 yrs. one way or another. I also have ASE master technician certification but now retired. I am the owner of the 2017 Honda CR-V, but my daughter is the driver. Was bought as a Honda certified veh, I also bought a Honda extended warranty from Honda, veh now only has 55,000 miles on it. Veh had an issue, all the dash warning lights came on, had veh towed to shop. They did a diagnostic check on it and no codes were stored in the computers. This is understandable, as one cannot repair unless a stored code or a new one is set. Paid the bill and tow as not covered by warranty as nothing was found related. This was handled by William; this is the service advisor that handled the 2nd time back in after about 1-2 weeks. This time they found a code that stated fuel injectors need replaced for around $1000.00. Bill called my daughter as she was the given driver of veh. He left her a voice message of the issue and that this is not cover under Honda Care warranty, and she would have to pay. I stopped in to speak with Bill but he was off for the afternoon, no one else was able to follow-up on that day? I called Honda care about the policy as I have a copy, was told it is a cover item. Called back to service was told not covered, called Honda care again, it is a cover item and no claim was submitted by this dealership? Bill did call back and he said it is covered now, he did not see the contract dated on the computer. Then he tells me he has been doing this for 25 years, makes one wonder if other customers have had the same issue and paid for a covered repair due to one’s incompetency. I would have been out of a $1000.00 for a covered repair, maybe Honda should do an audit on this dealership?

Best Customer Service

I called the Honda store in Boardman for a part I thought I needed for a repair on my Honda Civic. Joe and his team were professional, friendly, and very helpful in guiding me in the right direction to save me money on a very expensive part. They looked at my car the same day and fixed it. They saved me a ton of money. Most dealerships would take the money for parts and labor (and run), but they didn’t. Lifelong loyal customer here.

Service is overpriced and misleading

I took my 2014 Odyssey in for Oil change and to run a diagnostic. They lumped a cooling system service in with the oil change without explaining what that cooling system service entailed and how much that would cost. They also started but didn’t complete a diagnostic due to not enough time but still charged me 89.95 for diagnostic. They also told me my battery was bad and that may be the issue with the lights on my dash. But still charged me for that diagnostic. I said no to the battery today. When asked about the diagnostic charge I was told that due to it being started that they had to charge me for it. And would also have to charge me for it again in the future after a battery has been installed. So in total labor was 189.22. Parts was 52.58. All I wanted done was oil change, and diagnostic. I got an incomplete diagnostic but charged full price. And didn’t get anything fixed from it. And I also got a cooling system service that I didn’t realize would cost in total 89.45. And they think it would be ok to ask me for another $90 after $170 for a battery. Overpriced and misleading.

Terrible

This place is expensive so stay far away from them. Use every trick in the book from credit to the end insurance. Not a good experience at all.

Terrible Service Department

We got mud flaps installed on our 2022 Honda Odyssey last week. They decided to install them over the dirt and road grime that was on the van from driving it to their dealership. Now I have to take them off and hopefully avoid damaging the van in the process. Very unprofessional. Every time I take my Subaru into the dealership for any service whatsoever, they wash my car. This dealership didn't even wash the area they were working on. Just threw the flaps right over the dirt. I'd stay away from this dealership for service reasons alone. Lesson here is simple. Just buy a Subaru instead. They care about their customers.

Bought used car

Yes I bought a 2005 Honda civic. With 176000 miles on it. I did not get a good deal. Anyway before I bought it. I did take it for test drive. Was nice ride. Little bumpy thou. So after done with test drive. The dealer let me take it too a mechanic too check out no problems with car in general. Only problem was 2bad front struts leaking. Need too be replaced soon. Or will effect the tires were out. So the dealer only knocked off 200.00 on my bill. I first asked if they could least replace them. They said no. Take it or leave it. Wowwwww. I mean over the years they serviced this car alot for different things. Even replaced some belts etc. You mean they so cheap at that time could not replace the struts. Omg. Anyway I did but the car as is I realize that but wowww I mean. Not happy contacting Honda corporate about this matter.

Very happy

We went in to buy a used Accord but when looking at the new Accords the new technology is amazing. We considered the price difference as well with a lease and the buy out after so we decided on the lease. The Accord LX has so much that we didn’t have a need to buy up in trim. And our sales man Ron, all I can say is we feel like we gained a friend. If you’re needing a great dependable value driven car go check out Ron at the Honda store. We are so happy with our purchase.

Honda Store of Boardman.

Jeremy Vega Was my salesperson. He was excellent, very knowledgeable about the CRV I purchased. Patient in explaining the buying process and explaining the different options for safety. He also assisted in helping to set up the different system choices. He also told me to call him with any questions or concerns. I would definitely work with him again. However at this point in my life, doubtful I’ll be buying another new car, thanks Jeremy for your kindness and if I ever do, you would get a call from me. Love my new Honda, it keeps me between the lines and safer as I travel.
