Restocking fee of 15% was a little rough for an unopened part. The parts guy gave attitude, “it’s either 15% or nothing”. xxxx poor attitude. Great job Covert.

WORST PLACE EVER TO PURCHASE A CAR.
WORST PLACE EVER TO PURCHASE A CAR. WRONG MILEAGE ON CAR AND NOW WONT FIX THE ISSUE EVEN WITH THEIR LAWYER. I CANT REFIANCE MY CAR BECAUSE MILEAGE WAS IN KILOMETERS INSTEAD AND THEY CANT FIX. THEY TRYING TO FIND THE OLD OWNER TO HAVE HIM SIGN THE FORM TO REQUEST THE RIGHT MILEAGE CHANGE BUT THEY CANT FIND THE GUY SO NOW WHAT????????? NO SOLUTION NO HELP!! DONT BUY FROM COVERT THEY ARE AWEFUL

I scheduled an service appointment to change the oil and
I scheduled an service appointment to change the oil and rotate the tires. After over two hours I was told that it would be another ten minutes. I asked the advisor if it typically took that long and she said yes it took any where from one and a half to two hours. I have never in all the years I’ve own cars have this service taken this long. It actually took two and a half hours. The service advisor was very helpful but there reason why it should take that long.

Dropped our diesel truck off for a check for the engine
Dropped our diesel truck off for a check for the engine light being on, oil change and inspection on 12/17/2024. They kept our vehicle for a total of 18 days before we got the truck back with NO repairs completed. The service department advisor, Chris, text us to contact him on 1/2/2025. We called back and left a message on his phone but he did not ever respond back. So on 1/3/2025 I began texting Chris back since he failed to contact us. They NEVER touched the truck until 1/3/2025 to do a diagnostic check. They said our truck was going to need $4500 worth of work to repair the Def pump and a few other items. Covert Chevrolet in Hutto said it would take 7 business days to get to our truck repairs, but they kept the truck for 18 days, and did nothing to our truck for over 2.5 weeks. Chris, the service advisor, blamed it on the holiday. So we finally went to get our truck back on 1/4/2025 and they charged us over $300 to get it back, with no repairs done to our vehicle. Covert didn't even offer to try and make it right! I highly discourage anyone from using Covert for repairs. They should have been more considerate of us being without our truck for so long, but we were offered nothing to try to make up for their incompetence and lack of efficiency!!!! Do not recommend Covert in Hutto at all!!! They will do you wrong and not give any mind to how they have inconvenienced you!!! And they will charge you an arm and a leg to do absolutely nothing to your vehicle!!!

First of all, the following is what you advertise on your Covert Chevrolet Hutto’s Website: • “Quality service and maintenance with a real Texas accent” on Texas-style professionalism “For us, one of the most important ways we can help you have a great ownership experience is by making it easy to get the Chevrolet factory-recommended maintenance that your vehicle needs.” How dare you use Texas as a comparison to your style of professionalism! They are not even close! Texas is proud and great, and well, you are just the opposite. Your service department is anything but professional or easy. You lie about timelines, you put warranty work last, and in our case, it cost us our $3,000 extended warranty coverage of our vehicle. In November 2024, Chris Ingmire, Service Advisor, was standing right in front of my husband when he confirmed by phone that our extended warranty would cover the necessary repairs on our truck. However, Mr. Ingmire said we could not leave the vehicle with you to do the work at that time due to your service department running behind on work. So we waited a couple of weeks and brought the vehicle back on 12/17/2024. There was no communication given to us about our truck until 1/2/2025, when I received a text message from Mr. Ingmire requesting us to contact him. We called back, left a message, but did not hear back from him until 1/3/2025, around 4:19 PM, after multiple text messages and seven phone calls to the service department, one finally to Chris Matthews, Service Manager. And what do you know, Mr. Ingmire now stated that the extended warranty that covered our vehicle in November was now expired! Mr. Ingmire never ever said anything to us about it expiring soon. • Covert Chevrolet Hutto: a Texas-sized commitment to quality in Hutto “We know we have to earn your business every day with the kind of exceptional service you want from your Chevrolet dealer. That's why we're committed to giving you an ownership experience that will keep you coming back year after year.” Again, how dare you use Texas as a comparison to your commitment to exceptional service! You most certainly did not provide us with an experience that will keep us coming back to your Covert Chevrolet Service department. Your service department did just the opposite—they ran a loyal customer away for life due to their untrue timelines, lack of communication and unexceptional service. We lost the coverage of a $3,000 Extended Warranty that we paid for but were not allowed to use, and we lost over 2.5 weeks of use of our vehicle because of your incompetence and lack of quality service. Then we were charged for the diagnostic check that was finally done on 1/3/2025, over $320, to get our truck back. • “We don't sell cars: we create lifetime relationships” “Our #1 objective at Covert Chevrolet Hutto is to serve you so well you'll become a customer for life. Above all, we're committed to making every encounter with us rewarding and enjoyable.” Our experience with Covert Chevrolet Hutto’s service department was NOT rewarding or enjoyable, and we do not plan to return FOR LIFE! • “At Covert Chevrolet Hutto, we want to treat everyone who walks through our doors like they're part of our family. As far as we're concerned, you are.” We certainly were not treated like family! We were treated very poorly and basically forgotten about. We lost our $3,000 extended warranty coverage, lost use of our truck for 2.5 weeks, and were out several hundred dollars only to get the truck back NOT repaired.

$3000+ in junk fees.
$3000+ in junk fees. They offered the same trade as another dealership offered. They also beat their price. Then the junk add ons came in. I walked because it was cheaper in the end to buy from Leif Johnson.
