This was my first car buying experience, and I have to say that I don't think it could have gone any better. I started working with Mr. Jenkins via phone throughout the day and I felt confident enough to come in to potentially buy a truck. He helped me understand all of the terms of the purchase and was pleasant to negotiate price with. I felt that Mr. Jenkins, along with the rest of the employees I interacted with, were very knowledgeable about the car buying process and their products, which made my experience very pleasant. It was nice to see all of the employees working together to make sure that the customers were satisfied with their experience. Mr. Hicks took the time to show me all of the different features that came with the truck that I bought, and he was very enthusiastic the whole time. Mr. Humphrey was very pleasant to work with through the financial process and I was very pleased with the fact that he explained every detail to me and sincerely wanted to make sure that I knew exactly what I was getting. Overall, I was very satisfied with my experience at this dealership and I will definitely be recommending them in the future!

Justin is a great sales associate at classic ford. He helped me in purchasing my first brand new vehicle. We did everything over the phone and all I had to do was go to the dealership and sign the paper work. I would recommend him to anyone because really does listen and work to get his customers in the vehicle of there choice.

Rico was great. He seemed to be the only salesperson doing anything for anyone, I am fortunate to have been linked up with him as this was my first time shopping at Ford. Due to his "bedside manner", I do plan on being a retun customer for my next vehicle in the next few years or so.

I appreciated all of Nicole's hard work to get me approved and her sensitivity to my time as well. I've tried to purchase a car at another dealer that did not put in half of the effort that Nicole did. I am very satisfied with my new car and happy with my experience as well.

This review has such a low rating because I wasn not satisfied with the service nor the competence of the sale associateor the way I was treated by some of the other employees at this dealership. My fiance went into this dealership from xxxx in February. He had to find one of the most incompetent sale associate he could find. First off when I got there the gentlemen showed me the 2013 ford explorer. I liked it. It was my favorite color and everthing. My fiance had already filled out an app and I had to fill out one to be included in the purchase. Guess what they could not find his credit app. After all of that was fixed they did give me a great deal and I left with the car that night. We had to come in the next morning to dot all the I's and cross all the t's. We got to the dealership about 10:00 am. They had us WAITING to fill out paperwork for 3hours. When we finally got to the back to sign all the paperwork the worst happened. ALL THE FORMS THAT WE WERE SIGING HAD ANOTHER PERSONS CREDIT information ON IT!!!!! ALL of the paperwork did not have myself nor my finaces credit on anywhere. They pulled some one elses credit and added it to our vehicle. If it was not caught at the moment of signing someone else would have owned the vehicle that we were purchasing and going to be paying for. THIS IS A CLEAR VIOLATION OF PRIVACY THAT THEY BROKE. The paperwork had a females name, address, phone number, SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER and everything!!! They had to run my credit and my fiances credit all over again. Then the paperwork that he said took 3 hours to get together, he prepared in less than 10 minutes. At that moment I should have walked out of the door, but I really wanted that vehicle. I have more issues with CLASSIC FORD OF COLUMBIA but I cant discuss it because I'm currently getting ready to sue them. PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE A VEHICLE FROM THESE PEOPLE!!! They are not for the customer, they are for what money they can get out of it. This was my first purchase of a brand new vehicle and it was very disappointing experience. I will probably buy another Ford because I love my vehicle but I will never deal with this dealership ever, ever, ever again.

Personal Property taxes were due on the trade when the vehicle was traded to us. When the New vehicle she purchased tags were applied for she had to pay the tax bill at that time on the New Car or the state of South Carolina would not process hers tags. This customer thought this was in the dealerships control. We do not know the status of one's personal property tax when they trade with us. She blamed us for her tax bill having to be paid. She told us she had 4 degrees and that she wasn't stupid! Classic Ford does not give tax advice, nor do we inquire.
The error for which the customer is speaking was caught and corrected. It was simply a mistake, there was no malicious intent. This customer became upset because of a personal property tax issue. This customer traded their car in when personal property taxes were due unbeknownst to Classic Ford. When the tags were applied for the bill had to be paid. Classic Ford does not know when a customers property taxes are due , personal property tax is between the customer and the state. Personal property taxes were due and the taxes were higher on the new vehicle. The customer became upset with Classic Ford and thought we should have given them advice.
As you can see they are incompetent and as usual dancing around the situation. Car taxes and having 4 degrees have nothing to do with the drama that my fiance and i went through with this dealership. The 846.00 for the car taxes was paid with no problem. So i dont know what that response was all about. Breaking privacy laws and me having full access of the young ladies information that happen to live in the same area as I do has everything to do with this post. I wonder if I contact her and let her be aware that her credit was pulled by Clasdic Ford of Columbia on my behalf, without my consent and WAS attached to my truck which she almost owned would feel. Oh, but it was not done with amy malicious intent by the dealership.....But the lady was almost stuck with a 30000 truck that she didnt know anything about. This issue was at signing which means that this paperwork went through many hands and supposedly read by many eyes. I smell another law suit and I have proof because the conversation was recorded. They only wanted to sale a vehicle. They do not care about loyalty, customer service, or the individuals that make sure they even have a job by purchasing a vehicle.6 This post was also about how rude the general manager was to me, a paying customer. Now clearly this is not somewhere I would want anyone to go to even if I dont know you. I wish it had not taken me to have this expeience to have to help someone else.DO NOT GO TO CLASSIC FORD OF COLUMBIA!!!!
