Write a reviewWe purchased a one owner GM certified Yukon from Bob King
We purchased a one owner GM certified Yukon from Bob King in February of this year. We agreed on the value of my trade, the purchase price of the new vehicle, and the deal went smoothly. I inspected the vehicle before purchase. I noticed it may have had some paint work, but I assumed the vehicle had gone through a lengthy inspection process. I believed the purpose of this lengthy, inspection process was to buy with confidence in the dealer and GM’s program. This program also comes with a 12 month or 12,000 mile bumper-to-bumper warranty as well as 100k powertrain. The gentleman that helped with the finance process was very nice and made me aware that the console lid was broken. That was no problem as they offered to repair it when the part came in. This is where the problems begin. I noticed creaking in the front end the week we brought it home. I thought it would be an easy fix since it’s under warranty. I made the dealer aware, and they checked it out when fixing the console. They decided to replace the upper control arm and said it was fixed. I asked the technician why the upper control arm would be bad on a vehicle with less than 50,000 mile and how it would have gotten missed during the lengthy inspection process, he could not provide an answer. Keep in mind this creaking started within a few hundred miles of purchasing the car. We get home and I notice the vehicle is still creaking. My wife notices that the passenger seatbelt latch does not work correctly as well. I am unable to return to Bob King service as we live in Salisbury and Bob King is in Wilmington, which is over 3 hours away. Now we head to the local dealer since the GM warranty can be used everywhere. They keep the vehicle for over a week. They replace the seat belt latch, the lower control arm, and then the hub assembly two separate times. The creaking is finally gone, but the vehicle whines terribly when turning left. It is almost as if a bearing is being strained. I am convinced this vehicle was in an accident that was probably not reported to insurance. Back to the dealer we go. The vehicle is still under warranty for a few more months. This is the main car for my family of five: and I’m not sure at this point if it is even safe to drive. Bob King is very aware of my dissatisfaction with the car. One of the managers even called to tell me that they would do whatever it takes to make it right. I told them I would like a similar vehicle and would even add money to the deal to cover the months that we had driven the car. As you can guess, no further conversations have taken place. Learn from my mistake! Just because it states it’s a “GM certified used vehicle”, this car has been a headache from day one. I would not purchase another vehicle from Bob King, and don’t expect anyone there to care about the inventory they sell. I will unfortunately take a big loss on this vehicle, but I have learned a valuable lesson. As for Bob King, they have lost a customer who would have been a loyal, return customer. We trade in both of our cars every two years. I guess the days of great customers service and repeat business are outweighed by volume.

Absolute waste of time.
Absolute waste of time. Service writer incompetent, technician can’t be far behind. Could not diagnose caliper problem , took car (after leaving it all day) to independent shop who found the problem quickly and made the repairs. I would not recommend this service department to put air in a tire.

Had a flat that “could not be repaired” and needed an oil
Had a flat that “could not be repaired” and needed an oil change. TEXTED ME that tire repaired oil change and we can do wipers cabin filter and emissions kit for $560. I write back via text cause they don’t call you… tires, oil change wipers filter and emission kit (don’t know what that is) for $560? “Do you want to proceed?) Go to get my care $560 for oil, filter, emissions kit, and oh we plugged the tire. First time they said plugged was after they ran my card. It’s a running joke, “you got your car fixed at the dealership, your a sucker” yup add me to that list. It’s a commission business. They DONOT have your best interest. If you read their reviews lots of 5 stars… cause if you give them 5 stars they will give you a free tank of gas. Bribing people for reviews.

The best Kelsey Spriggs
Kelsey Spriggs sold me my car and she took her time in showing and explaining every detail. When I went to pick up my tags she even helped me with my navigation systems on my other Buick. Kelsey is the best.

Interior on my pre owned Canyon very nasty
Recently bought a 2015 GMC Canyon not in the best shape, previous owner didn't take care of the truck. Bought on a Saturday asked to have the truck cleaned up because the drivers seat had a large white stain. Sales guy says he took the truck across the street while the paper was being done. Truck came back to the used car center worse than it left, sales guy says we got you cleaned up. What a joke, seat stain has gotten worse to the point that I will replace the front seats. Stay away from this place sales guy is lazy and couldn't even get the used vehicle clean. Go elsewhere you will be better off, will not do business there ever! Scott C

Nothing but superlatives with very respectable service
Pete was informative, friendly and not pushy. Very admirable skills in the auto sales business. My mother and I were impressed with his knowledge and service, which helped us select a metallic white 2017 Buick Regal-Turbo sedan.

Love my Cascada
This was, without a doubt the most positive car buying experience I have ever had. My husband and I came to Bob King to look at a Buick Cascada. I was in the market for a new car and I wanted a convertible. I had my eye on a used Cascada in Sanford NC but wanted my husband to see a Cascada before I bought it. We came into the show room and Mr. Carrol met us at the door, introduced himself and let us look at the cars you had on the lot. We drove one and loved it and we were going to buy the one in Sanford but when Mr. Carrol started talking numbers Sanford went out the window and I bought a buick from Bob King. I had pre arranged financing and your finance manager beat my credit union inside out and the deal he presented was fantastic. Your service people were awesome, your salesman was awesome, and your finance guy was awesome. They took care of everything and it was so easy. I love my Cascada and the next time I buy a car it will be from your dealership. Thank you all so much- you have a life long customer with us.

horrible customer satisfaction
My mother bought a new Buick from this dealership in 2013 with ok service at the time of purchase. She has recently decided to trade and buy a new identical Enclave and was willing to give Bob King another chance. She has called 4 times and even spoke with Managers and her previous salesman Butch about having someone help her, each time with no help and multiple broken promises to be called back to the point she no longer wants to trade with this dealership. Being a sales manager at a large dealership in SD I find this sad and completely unprofessional. My mother is in bad health and needs to helped through this transaction however this dealership and its employees will not even get back in touch with her. Very lackluster performance from this sales team and its managers. DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO DEAL WITH THIS DEALERSHIP OR ITS STAFF.

FIRST NEW VEHICLE & TRUCK PURCHASE
I lucked out and got a great vehicle at a phenomenal price. I encourage anyone to call or swing by and open a dialogue with the Staff at Bob King. Never know what they have to say or offer until you ask. Mark Rasmussen, Patrick Barnes and the entire team are courteous, polite and knowledgeable. I would send others their way without question. Thanks guys!!!
