I bought a used Explorer from a different dealership a year ago. A month after having it, my kids & I were in Chicago & smack in the middle of an intersection, the steering gave out. Since that nightmare , its been one problem after another. The screen going out, the A/C blows out high heat, I can't close the sunroof ,(twice), water coming through the overhead lights, camera & navigation not working, radio shuts down, etc. Thankfully i bought an extended warranty so most of everything has been covered.. Though I swore i would never buy a Ford again because of this car, im stuck with it until I can afford a new one. After all the trouble I've had with it, the service department has been amazing! I've taken it to other Ford dealerships if Ahoskie is booked, but they are not as thorough in fixing, or explaining the issues. I HAVE to give xxxxxxto JEAN in the service department. She is a total ROCK STAR! She explains the problem in a way thats clearly understandable & gets it done the FIRST time! I can't say enough about how great she is. Obviously I give kudos to the guys that fix it in the back but Jean is the reason i keep coming back! She is the backbone of that service department & if she retires....ugh....

Took my truck in for an oil change and tire rotation.
Took my truck in for an oil change and tire rotation. As always, I got the ol' "You need brakes and wiper blades" phone call. Upon picking up vehicle I noticed the tires had not been rotated and when I asked about it was told "Oh yeah, we did rotate your tires". I said ask the mechanic if he rotated them and he said he had not. I then reminded her that the tire rotation was supposed to be free because that was the promise they made when I purchased them from Central Ford. She responded by saying they were under new ownership and that promise was no longer valid and that besides that "It was only $6.00" ...WHAT!! So instead of telling me to pull my truck in and they would immediately rotate my tires and remove the fee from my bill, she got an attitude and snapped at me telling me I would have to go into the front office to have the tire rotation removed from my bill. After voicing my complaint to the Gerneral Manager I left the business, most likely not to return. The sad part is, I have been dealing with this business for 30-plus years and this has been standard behavior.

Central Ford is the ONLY car dealership I deal with. All employees make you feel like family. They answer any questions I have quickly. I don't feel pressured. My family is a returning customer to Central Ford and will be in the future.

Waited almost 2hours to get oil, filter and tires...
Waited almost 2hours to get oil, filter and tires rotated. I was the only customer on the quick lane side. Several attempts were made to upsell products and services that were not needed. I understand the trying times with limited vehicle sales but upselling is not the answer.
