I cosigned for my nephew (don't recommend anyone do this) and just found out after he was involved in a crash, McCloskey listed me as primary. This has been a nightmare. It was a great car but definitely feel decieved. The amount of hard hits to credit were also too much. My nephew couldn't get approved so they switched it to me after clearly telling them I was a cosigner. The original car picked was stolen from their lot (allegedly) and this process was over a week and the day of signing hours. Be cautious going to any dealer, especially this one. Doing business like this will initially give them a happy customer but not in the Long-run.

Push Pull not so much
Tried to make a reasonable deal on a vehicle. I reviewed Kbb Edmonds and other cars in the area. Salesman told me his manager would call me back. After harassing the sales rep, I finally got a call back. Of course offered me the standard $500 discount which is so common. When i suggested that I have a trade, the sales manager told me it wouldn't apply to the vehicle I was interested in! Really not as advertised. Find another dealer

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. The trade-in promotions are always listed on "qualifying in-stock vehicles. See dealer for details." We are more than happy to advise which vehicles DO and do not qualify. We're sorry if the process created frustration for you. Please feel free to consider giving us a call if you have questions and would still consider doing business with us in the future.
NOT a happy camper
I don't want to be that guy that leaves a less than desirable review, but here we go. EVERYONE who lives in Colorado Springs and listens to the radio has heard the commercial...4000 dollars for your trade regardless of condition. "That's a lot o' dough Joe!"... Well, unless you're me I guess. They gave us a whopping 500 dollars for a vehicle that they probably scrapped for 4 times that amount. When I said something about the fact that we'd at least get 4 grand for our trade the salesman laughed and quoted the actual "dough" quote. I was unaware at this time that it's just a marketing gimmick. Well, Mama wanted the car so we signed on the line and drove away. We were told that we'd be contacted in the next few days to get any other keys for the vehicle. They supplied a bare key(no remote unlock buttons or anything) for the car, but we didn't think much about it. Fast forward 2 weeks later after my third phone call to inquire about the keys and after being on hold for about 10 minutes the lady on the other end comes back and informs me there are no other keys. Well ain't that sweet. I look online and keys with remotes ARE available. The problem I find now, is that you can buy keys(I saw a set of two...with remotes) for around 50 bucks.Cool! The keys have to be cut and programmed by a locksmith... o.k.... For around 400 bucks... NOT cool. I'm not a dummy... I just feel like one. I know that no matter what car dealer you go to you're in for some degree of reaming. I can't help but feel like I got a pretty good one here. The folks at McCloskey probably won't see this, and if they do they likely won't give a rip. At least I got to vent a little bit.

Communication and customer service is horrible!
I have never given a bad review.....when we called in about a vehicle, My husband was told that we had excellent credit and to send them 500$ to hold the vehicle intel Friday(since we live so far away we had to wait to go in tell Friday). We figured the banks had already approved us. That was not the case; they had yet to even send our app for approval. Because we have never had a loan over a certain amount, they were struggling to get us financed, which we were happy they seemed to be trying. We had to call to get updates on the prosses and there was no communication as to where we were in the application process, but we kept patient because we wanted the vehicle. After two weeks of this, I called, and they told me no news was good news. So I waited a whole week after that, and when my husband called they gave him the runaround and said they would call him back (no one did) so we decided enough was enough, and we wanted our 500 $back. I called to express my concerns only to be told I was fired as a customer and told if I wanted my money back to come to get it, then Mike hung up on me. I called back again and asked to talk to a manager and they sent me back to the same Mike guy that hung up on me, and he proceeded to do the same thing, hang up. So I called again, and they sent me to the freaking service department (SERVICE DEPARTMENT), where I got a very nice guy, not even in the same building. He walked over to the sales place and had someone who could help me call me and give me back my 500$. This man did not apologize about my mistreatment or even want to hear about how I was treated, but he said he was sending my 500 back, so we will see this was by far the WORST sales exp I have ever had.

Hi Jessica, We have reviewed the information and are sad to hear that any experience doesn't go smoothly. It is always unfortunate for both; us as the business and you as the customer. However, after your tirade to us on the phone and the threats of physical harm from you, and the explanation that your money had been refunded as requested, we had no other options. We advised you of this all during the interaction. We hope you were able to find a vehicle that works for you, even if it was not from us.
NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THESE SCAM ARTISTS!!!
NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THESE SCAM ARTISTS!!! THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS AWFUL AND THEIR WILLINGNESS TO TAKE ACCOUNTANT FOR TAKING ADVANTAGE OF A DISABLED CUSTOMER IS UNACCEPTABLE I got a rough patch and I sold them my newer vehicle and they sold me a car that has broke down and cost me much much more than I paid for it. When I called to about options for trading it back to them and getting something more reliable I was treated very rudely by their call center people. I was trying to convey all the necessary information about my situation as she kept interrupting me and talking over me. When I brought her unprofessionalism up to her she continued to talk over me. this whole situation has left me in a worse situation.

Don’t not buy there!!!!
Wasted 4 hours of my life. First overpriced cars for the mileage and year of the cars. Found a car was willing to buy. They never offered the car fax up front (I should have asked for it first). Car was involved in a moderate accident. Found out while signing paperwork. They would not honor there standard 2000 mile warranty due to the year of the car (was buying car as is). Found 5 things wrong with the car they said they would repair. Got the paperwork signed then the manager came back and told me that they would not fix 3 of the things wrong with the car. Stated he would have to pay a mechanic and the other problems are not safety issues. First salesman tells me they inspect there cars then the manager stated they only do major parts of the car (drive train, etc). Told them would not buy the car without the guarenteed repairs. Manager was rude. Told him I’m going to write a review. He proceeded to basically call me a idiot and I don’t know anything. Would not go back there. Thought they were a reputable company.

Hey Dave, appreciate the feedback, but I have looked high and low to find record of a visit from you and I am not sure you have the right store. We do a regular inspection on all of our vehicles, and make sure that what we sell is safe to drive. You also mentioned "hiring a mechanic..." we have 32 service bays and multiple mechanics on site, which is why I think there may be some confusion. We hope you find what you and your daughter were looking for and would keep us in mind for the future.
Dishonest and greedy
They will do whatever they need to do get you to buy a car and that includes lying to you to get you to sign your life away for a car. They say you can take a car and return it within a certain time period and you won't need to worry about it. When I did that they tried to get me to keep the car after I returned it due to it being unsatisfactory. They wanted me to pay for it even after letting me drive off the lot in it. When I brought it back I refused to pay anything for it as they wanted and I literally had to call the police on them because they were threatening me. I told them to take the car but I would not pay for it when I was never told that would be the case if I drove it off the lot. I was supposed to be able to drive it for a week and if I wanted to return it I could. Never a mention of me needing to pay anything if I decided I didn't want it. Anyway I ended up leaving the car with them and going elsewhere because the car wasn't even worth what they wanted to it. My advice, Never go to them for a car! They're unprofessional and they will manipulate anyone they think they can and try to get away with it.

This is wild. We do not advise that people, "take a car and return it within a certain time period..." that is not something we offer or advertise or imply. Just as there are rules and laws in place to protect consumers, there are rules and laws in place that protect businesses as well. You cannot just facilitate driving a vehicle and then return it at your leisure. We offer quality vehicles at fair prices, and you deal with real, regular people. It's disappointing someone (you) would leave a review that is just so far-fetched.
