Exceeding expectations at every stage

I am telling you, it was well worth the hour drive from Cincinnati to buy a used car here. Lamar was professional, and had the car ready, cleaned, and waiting for us. He went above and beyond when there was a small issue with the truck. Brandon was efficient with the paperwork, Andy in the service department was on the ball, Scott in customer service made sure I was taken care of QUICKLY. It wasn't that I didn't have any issues, it was just that EVERY level, the service was professional and efficient, above and beyond. BEST used car buying experience EVER!

Our first involvement with Interstate Ford was having...

Our first involvement with Interstate Ford was having maintenance done on a 2009 Ford Flex that we purchased elsewhere. We found their service department to be very good, and that experience brought us back to trade in our Flex. Nick our salesman, John the closer, and Wes the finance guy were all fantastic to deal with. We will not hesitate to return to Interstate Ford for our future automobile needs. Purchase of a used car

We live in Miamisburg and wanted to shop at a local dealership with a solid reputation. Several years ago, I had a 2001 Ford Taurus which I had serviced here on many occasions. We needed a used car and found this one. We paid full asking price (no negotiating) for a used Toyota Camry with very very little Power Steering fluid, Brake fluid, Anti Freeze, and Windshield Wiper Fluid. That was dangerous and irresponsible. We went to Pepboys and purchased all fluids and topped them off. The fluids probably would have cost Interstate pennies. The 2 key fobs did not work and when we asked that the batteries be changed, before we left the dealership, we were declined. We went to Toyota and replaced 2 keyfob batteries, which probably would have cost Interstate half the cost. Our salesman, Justin, was very courteous and professional. We were disappointed with the servicing of the used vehicle because what wasn't done was just basic stuff that would have taken no time and cost very little. If that had been a person who didn't know about checking fluid levels, trusted that it was completed at the dealership, may have run into major problems very soon after purchase. Tony Langer pulled no punches with me, straight forward guy

Great working with Tony , I asked for alternatives, he said he would give good value on my trade in and we got the deal done via text and about an hour. Gary Kurtz

Nick Miller was a great salesman. There was no haggling back and forth about a price. Was able to complete the whole process in about two hours. Will go back to Interstate Ford because of Nick.

Never walk a qualified customer, they did!

We went in to look at an 07 Ridgeline price at 10K The vehicle was in good condition with only 109k miles. Well under market avg. We offered $8400 for it, 0 down financing, My wife and I both signed, she has good credit, mine is fair. They pushed back on the loan as no one will finance it. Saying the miles were too high (Nonsense, it's well under the market avg for that year) and that it's too old, again, nonsense. If these were true, then they should have auctioned the vehicle. They honestly didn't even try to sell the thing to us, despite us trying to buy it. Not even an attempt at subprime, which we would have tried. Here's the issue. It's grossly overpriced. Our offer came in well above what the avg market price for that vehicle was at, avg market was about $6000-7000. We were at $8400. They originally had it at $10,800, with an $800 discount. Researching trade values, they likely paid $3-4k for it blackbook. This is why the prime lenders balked, they have TOO MUCH markup on the vehicle. This kills the collateral value of the car. No bank in their right mind would give a loan on this, they did blame it on other things though. Had it been the right price, yes a loan would happen, car lots do that every single day, it's called selling used cars. Something I used to do for a living. Walking a customer is not something I can easily comprehend. My former bosses, Mr. Walker. Mr. Harrigan. The late Mr. Martin would have fired me on the spot for doing that.
