Bait and switch oil change

Made an oil change appointment via the Ford app authorizing use of $75 in Ford points. The service took about an hour and a half while I waited. I was then asked to pay $125! The rationale was that my truck takes more oil than the standard oil change. I questioned why the app priced the service for the vehicle it was linked to at a lower price? The tech was unable to answer and promised to ask his manager about the discrepancy. He then stood there looking at me. I figured out he had no intention of making an inquiry at that time, so I authorized the extra points and left. I will find another shop going forward.

THEY GOT ME IN RIGHT AWAY, VERY CURTIOUS, KEPT ME INFORMED OF WHAT WAS GOING ONAND FINISHED ON TIME

Truck owner

Everyone was top notch. Check in. Easy Updates on repair process. Easy Timely: Great Payment: easy Pickup: had a little trouble finding my truck when I went to pick it up. Not a significant problem. Had to have my truck towed to Brighton, but not their fault.

My service man, Dave, continually takes excellent care of my truck in a timely manner. He always explains the repairs so that I have a great understanding of the problem. He keeps the general maintenance up to date. I wouldn't trust my Ford truck to any one else. Thanks Dave
