OK Deal

The deal went pretty smoothly, I was not happy with the added fees for the Shadowmark, which I won't use, and the loan origination fees that added to the total that was quoted to me initially and raised my payment. The credit union and dealership should make their money on the interest for the loan, not an upfront fee. But buying online and from a distance is kind of a disadvantage when the paperwork is done by mail and it isn't clear when doing the deal that these extra fees are involved.

Communication

I emailed their on-line customer service group letting them know I was interested in a vehicle and that I was going to make a purchase with-in two days, I didn't received a response until after the weekend - 4 days later. Very disappointing.

Awesome commercial sales team

The Bob Thomas Commercial vehicle sales team did a great job of getting us into the perfect van for our needs. Staff was friendly and courteous throughout the entire process. We communicated back and forth with them for several weeks before making the purchase and always had our questions answered in a timely manner.

Disappointed and frustrated

I brought my car in for an oil change and to have my seat belt fixed. The car was there all day. I was told the seat belt was only twisted and didn't need fixed. As I was leaving, I tried to put my seat belt on and it still did not work. I feel like there was no time or energy put into checking to see what could be wrong with it. When I showed the service manager she knew instantly that it needed a part to fix it. She also said that this happens frequently in Ford Edges. Now I have to wait for the part to be ordered and then drop my car off another day to have it fixed. Our experiences with purchasing our vehicles from this dealership have always been awesome. This is the first time needing repairs and I am not impressed with the service department. I hope I can write a positive review after the seat belt is fixed.

Very happy with the service. We were able to get a good deal. The buying process was good. The only complaint would be that I would have like it the be cleaned and touched up a bit more.

Paul Winn 2019 Ford Edge Titanium New Lease Review

My lease of a 2017 Ford Fusion was due to exspire, so I visited Bob Thomas Ford North with the intension of leasing a 2019 Fusion. The salesman who I worked with for the 2017 lease had the day off, but another salesman quickly and politely offered to work with me to examine my options for a 2019 lease. I was reluctant to do so, since I wanted to ensure that my preferred salesman would receive the commission. I stated my concern and was assured that my salesman preference would be honored and it was. The “substitute” salesman patiently worked with me for approximately 1.5 hours. I opted out of leasing a 2019 Fusion since, to the surprise of myself and the salesman, Ford was not offering any rebates. We then, at my choice, began looking at options to lease a Ford Edge. I stated that I wanted an Edge model that, at a minimum, had all the features that the 2017 Fusion had. The salesman did a comparison of a fully loaded model SEL and a standard equipped Titanium model. He pointed out the fact that the SEL, with all options offered by Ford, lacked several options that I enjoyed with the 2017 Fusion, thus I ruled out the SEL model. He then, at my request, worked up the finance numbers for the Titanium model, since the sticker price of that model was considerably higher than that of the 2019 Fusion. I also wanted my monthly lease payment to be approximately no more than $100 greater than my monthly payment for the 2017 Fusion. After a couple iterations of the numbers, he came up with a finance figure that was acceptable to me and we closed the deal. I felt guilty that he ended up spending so much time with me and would not receive the sales commission, but he again assured me that it was not an issue with him and that he was pleased we had arrived at a satisfactory financial arrangement. I have been a Bob Thomas Ford customer since July 2017 and have always enjoyed excellent customer service. This recent leasing experience reflected their commitment to providing excellent customer service, be it related to the leasing or purchase of a new vehicle or the service of a vehicle by the service department.

Superb service

Matt Wilson was the internet manager who helped me with my pricing excellent guy to work with really looks out for you superb customer service Dave forres was just as equally helpful going over the car and helping me with paperwork and everything else this company I would highly recommend it made me turn into a Ford believer once again I would go to Bob Thomas Ford every time highly recommend them for a car
