4th Purchase from Tunkhannock

My wife and I have been dealing with Tunkhannock Auto Mart and Matt Kerr for 4 years now and have purchased 4 vehicles. Matt and the rest of the staff always make you feel very welcome at the dealership with no pressure to make any decision your not ready to make. All of our dealing at Tunkhannock have been great every step of the way, from trade in value and purchase pricing right through the service department. Without a doubt I would recommend Tunkhannock Auto Mart and especially Matt as a salesmen for any friends or family.

My wife and I have been dealing with Tunkhannock Auto Mart and Matt Kerr for 4 years now and have purchased 4 vehicles. Ed makes purchasing a vehicle a pleasant no pressure experience. We've purchased our last four vehicles from him and found him to be the consummate professional . He works tirelessly to get you into thew vehicle of your choice or desire. So trustworthy is he that we have recommended him and the dealership to many of our friends. We also sent our son to him to purchase a vehicle. His friendliness, honesty, and willingness to work with us has far exceeded all other dealerships and salespeople we have dealt with in the past.

My husband's favorite car!

We are Subaru people who once had a Subaru Baja. We have purchased 5 Subaru foresters through the years, but my husband's favorite car was a 2005 Subaru Baja which we purchased new. When it was time for a new vehicle we purchased a new Subaru Forester, but my husband really missed his Baja. One evening I thought of checking on-line for a Subaru Baja. Just by chance I came across Tunkhannock Auto Mart which advertised a 2003 Subaru Baja with only 58,000 miles. I couldn't believe it! We had a second Subaru Forester that had over 100,000 miles and no problems, but knowing how much my husband loved his Baja I decided to look into this car. I was contacted by Kelly Thomas from the dealership and made arrangements to see this Baja. We were very impressed by Kelly's knowledge, professionalism, and kindness, as well as the friendliness of the receptionist who directed us to Kelly. So as of this moment we are the proud owners of our 2003 Subaru Baja with just 58,000 miles in great condition both inside and outside. A big thank you to Kelly Thomas and Tunkhannock Auto Mart! I was not really going to buy. Just wanted to see what...

I was not really going to buy. Just wanted to see what kind of trade I could get. I decided to trade and lease a wrangler. I wanted a 4dr but I wanted the payment to be as low as possible. So I settled for the 2dr. Dave would not move on price. I was putting part of my trade down and getting cash back. I wanted running boards put on. So I needed to go home to get my title and was told everything would be ready when I returned. The jeep was read but, the paperwork was not. Another hour and half. Total time for transaction was three and a half hours. When I was to sign paperwork the finance person said he put the price of the running boards on top of the price of the vehicle. Then wanted me to finance not lease. At the end he said my cash back for the trade had to come from Scranton Jeep and would receive a check by Tuesday MINUS the cost of the running boards. I thought maybe the finance guy just made a mistake. When Dave finally came with the paperwork to sign I said I was not going to pay twice for the running boards. He said they need to show the price somewhere so they will take it out of the cash back. I said you already put the cost in the price of the vehicle. Dave also said I would get my cash back by Tuesday. I called on Wednesday. Dave was not in so the manager was to call me back. 3 hours later I called again and the manager was to call me back. NEVER HEARD FROM HIM. The next day SOMEHOW I received my check in the mail. The check was from Tunkhannock when I was told that all checks have to come Scranton Jeep. I am not sure what to think. I have bought many vehicles in the past 30 years and I really regret going there. I went in 3 weeks later just to see if I could upgrade to a 4dr wrangler and Dave had quite. The other salesperson said I would loose my down payment. I am pretty sure I will not walk through the doors again.

Eddie Schwartztrauber was a true professional. Honest and open about condition of vehicle and pricing prior to our two hour drive. Would highly recommend. Provided extra effort by thoroughly researching a mechanical concern we learned about this model year Jeep. Also, took time to explain warranty options that best suit our needs.

I seriously shopped around for a vehicle for months and...

I seriously shopped around for a vehicle for months and really wasn't sure what I wanted. I looked at new and used. I looked at cars, trucks, and SUV's. Joe Dafcik at the Tunkhannock Auto Mart was excellent throughout the whole process and I truly cannot thank him enough. Months ago I inquired about a jeep wrangler online and Joe was the salesperson who contacted me, via e-mail. I spoke with him by phone 1 time. All of my other communication was via e-mail and text messaging, because Joe even gave me his cell phone number! I shopped around online at tons of dealerships, but out of all of them, Joe was the only person who wanted anything to do with me even if I wasn't willing to come to the dealership or talk to him by phone. Every other dealership didn't want to deal with me and the online communication that works best for me. If I wasn't willing to talk by phone and actually go to the dealership I didn't hear back from them after an e-mail or two. Anyway, I coudn't be happier with the service I received from Joe and the other great folks at the Tunkhannock Auto Mart. I wasn't pressured and they didn't badger me. When I first started looking at vehicles I ended up deciding that I wasn't ready to buy right at that moment. However, every few weeks I would recieve an e-mail from Joe just letting me know that if there was anything that he could do for me that he was there. A couple of months later when I decided that I was ready to buy, Joe was the first person that I contacted and I ended up making my purchase through him. My experience with the Tunkhannock Auto Mart was nothing short of excellent! I love my new Wrangler and I feel completely comfortable with my purchase. Joe and everyone else involved at the Tunkhannock Auto Mart really made my car buying experience easy and stress free.I would recommend the Tunkhannock Auto Mart and Joe Dafcik to anyone looking to make a vehicle purchase! I have been dealing with tunkhannock auto mart for at least 20 years plus. I travel from Wilkes Barre, which is a 30 min drive. I purchase my vehicles there and have my vehicles serviced there. It is worth the drive to experience the professional service given, along with the friendly attitude of all.

Dealership is very friendly and once the car was taken...

Dealership is very friendly and once the car was taken back, turn around time was good. Only negative on this visit was that we waited for 50 minutes for both our vehicles to be taken back to be serviced. Jeep was being inspected and oil change and my husband's Dodge Truck was getting an oil change and tires rotated. We have the "membership" card, but it still quite a while for the vehicles to be taken back.
