Great service

Took my 2018 Colorado in for new tires. I booked the appointment 2 weeks ahead and got the quote then. The final price was exactly as quoted. Love Mark and all the guys I’ve talked to. They do a great job!! They repaired my truck a couple of years ago when a deer ran into the right front. You would never know anything had happened. I’d recommend them to everyone!!

We found a vehicle we liked got approved the salesman

We found a vehicle we liked got approved the salesman called us had us come in and we get there and he says sorry the vehicles sold....why have us drive from NY if you sold the car...won't ever buy from them

We were going to buy a 2014 jeep the salesmans name is brandon. They ran our credit approved us then he called me around 11am to tell me we got approved and asked us to come in when my husband got off work. We drove there and they told us they sold it. We went champion ford and bought a car. I will never go to hallmans again.

Recently my Step-Son Daniel brought in his Chevy Equinox

Recently my Step-Son Daniel brought in his Chevy Equinox after a Deer slammed in the front quarter panel to the body shop. The initial body repair was fine, but after my son drove off the lot he noticed the vehicle had an engine problem. Daniel returned the vehicle back to service and they determined the engine was out of oil and had low compression and your guys quoted about $4000 in repair. My son explained it never acted like that before the repair and they backed it up with a Post Engine Diagnostic test. My son recently purchased this Equinox about 6 months prior to the deer accident. So we decided to get a second opinion from the owner of North East Auto Gallery John. We also asked Hallmans for a Pre-Scan of the vehicle before the repair but no one could find it, even-though Hallman’s billed State Farm for one? John said that he thought it was a On-Board Computer located on the same side as the Deer damage. So they replaced this computer and the vehicle runs fine now…This repair was over $1500 however we paid for this out of pocket because you told the insurance company it wasn’t caused by the deer accident …not to mention vehicle rental over $1000. Firstly, I felt Mark acted improperly and didn’t realize this computer could be damaged. Plus, he was a poor listener.. Secondly, this could have possibly been avoided with a Pre-Scan Diagnostic Test, but it couldn't be found…Lastly, is the monetary loss and discomfort dealing with your Service & Body Shop. This was poor work and was difficult to defend. David Hallman You have always been a fair man and thought you should know. Time to own up to this mistake. ….oh and I am an Ex-Employee of Hallmans.

Salesman (Scott) was great.

Salesman (Scott) was great. No issues with the purchase. Inventory still low for new cars, but we were able to navigate the purchase when vehicle was still en route. Prepare to be lowballed on your trade in. Would recommend getting other offers on your trade in before negotiating with them otherwise you are more likely to get a bad deal. Other than that, my experience was fine.

I’m not knowledgeable of cars or mechanics at all but I have nothing but trust in the team at Dave Hallman. Frank was very helpful throughout the process and all staff I encountered were very polite to me.

Run, run far!!

Hands down the worst experience I’ve ever had with a local business.. We were sold a 1 owner Hyundai with just under 90k for almost 15k, when the sticker price was 9995…. First red flag…. We were bullied into the extended warranty by them using our newborn as leverage, “you wouldn’t want to experience the single most devastating financial loss most Americans endure while trying to start a family..”. This did kind of end up helping as the engine blew within the first half a year, not to mention we noted issues with it as soon as we bought it from Hallmans with their service department.. The day the engine finally did blow, we were on our way home from a family trip on I90 with our 3 month old in the middle of a storm…. They had zero empathy or compassion for us when told about this situation, telling us now that the warranty would only cover a portion of the $5,800 engine it needed… After months of waiting, not having a vehicle for our sons first Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years and many phone calls/emails I was finally reached out to by Mr Hallman himself.. He did a great job of acting like he cared but the results were less then favorable…. We were told we were going to be responsible for $600 and finally got a beat up loaner after months of waiting and literally begging for just a car to get us from point A to B after months of waiting for our car to be repaired…. As soon as we got it back you could tell something was still wrong, which we reached out to the service department about and I was told to “pick up our mechanic Monday morning and he’ll ride with you and see if anything is wrong” unreal. The engine drove/looked questionable, they noted battery issues which when we dropped it off was fine but after months of it sitting and not being started on their lot left it unsalvageable, mind you they told us they replaced it…. Our car now sits unable to be used while their service department bickers and debates with us…. We’d just like what was sold to us and promised, not some unreliable car that honestly is a liability and danger to my family….

Customer Service was horrible, Service overcharged me for

Customer Service was horrible, Service overcharged me for the maintenance of my vehicle only to find out a few days later the problem I took my vehicle in for wasn't fixed when I contacted Service it took them almost 3 weeks to get my vehicle back in for a appointment. They tried charging me an additional 1600.00 dollars and when I asked the Service Manager why on my second visit he didn't give me a distinct answer just was worried about me taking the risk and paying more money even though my Vehicle wasn't fixed. Hallmans isn't a trustworthy facility and definitely wasn't satisfied and I'm out of 615.00 dollars for a issue that was Never fixed at Hallmans. I wouldn't recommend the facility for any service. Poor Customer Service.
