Incompetence

I never write reviews, but with the terrible service I got with Infiniti of Syracuse I felt it was a must. Had an issue with the touchscreen of my car, I figured Infiniti could help me out. Boy, was I wrong. I deal with HMIs consistently for my profession, so I have a great understanding of them. So, I researched and found the exact problem I was dealing with, and a step by step on how to fix it. Printed it out, brought it to the dealership, just for them(service not sales) to say that they don’t need it and will fix it. They didn’t. They told me my touchscreen is broken and can’t be fixed. Their solution was to replace the entire HMI and for me to pay $1900 plus their diagnostics fee of $135. Told them that’s not what I wanted them to do. They told me too bad and if someone else can fix it to go to them instead. Sooo, I did just that. Found a local spot in Utica. Told them what the issue was, gave them the papers, andddd THEY FIXED IT FOR $80. Demanded a refund for their extremely poor service and they said they would give do so, but had to see if it’s actually fixed. Had to drive there THREE MORE TIMES. They ignored my calls and didn’t respond to my voicemails for WEEKS. Sooo I made a claim and got my money back. Still waiting on The compensation for the time I wasted and the gas I had to use to get there 🙃 I highly recommend their service department get individuals who are actually competent, friendly, and actually care about their customers. It’s pretty sad how a small local business is better than fixing Infiniti’s than the Infiniti Dealership...

Unfortunately, I still did not get a refund. So, no progress has been made on making it up.

Exceptional Sales

Too often people use the car reviews to articulate displeasure with their interaction with their dealerships. My experience has been very different with this dealership as well as my sales professional. Paul Weller has provided a truly exceptional auto buying experience. He was intuitive to what my buying needs were and his experience went a long way in finding the best fit for me. His comprehensive approach to brining all aspects of this transaction together make him an unmatched professional in this industry. As my car is new, I haven’t had the opportunity to bring it in for its first service but I’m sure my experience will be equally positive.

Dishonest and shady business practices

Buyer beware!!! They will lie about the condition of their vehicles. Shady business practices often seem at used car dealers are embraced at this dealership. I wouldn't buy a car from this dealership even if it were $5,000 cheaper than the other place. An embarassment to the Infiniti brand. Will try to sell you a "certified" vehicle that doesn't meet the criteria as established by Infiniti USA. Don't say I didn't warn you!!!

Wizard, we pride ourselves on providing exceptional service, so we are disappointed to hear that your visit with us was anything less than satisfactory. If there is anything we can do, please let us know! - Michael @ INFINITI of Syracuse.

Poor buying experience

This dealership is a good example of a bad business. We purchased a 2015 Infiniti qx60 with 15k miles on a Monday. There was a recall on a seat belt item which was to be repaired for us to pick up by Friday. No one called to update exact time to pick up car. We called salesman who didn't remember us from 5 days before. The repair wasn't completed by Friday at 4:30 although it had been promised. We accepted explanation so pick up scheduled for Monday. On Monday we discovered the salesman wrote Monday but put Tuesdays date --- car not ready. Go back Tuesday warranty item fixed but car was not detailed, it was very dirty. Good luck
