Very nice, attentive staff and not pushy.

Tom McConnell was straight forward, not pushy, and overall a great person to work with. Not once did I hear typical “salesman talk” for dealing with a customer.

New Equinox

Tom made buying our new equinox very easy, he was very helpful and told us every thing we needed to know. This was our 1st time going to Zimbrick's and we will absolutely go back to Tom and Zimbrick's for our next car.

Excellent service

My absolute number one thing I dislike most is shopping for vehicles! I never know what to purchase, if I will be happy with my purchase and overall the whole process just stresses me out. Jeff was AMAZING! He was not pushy what so ever, he answered every question I had (even the dumb ones), he worked well with my schedule and made sure my experience at Zimbrick was one I did not have to stress about. I went in looking at a specific vehicle I found on their website and after my test drive he showed me one he thought I might like better. I told him my must haves and with that, he was right! He talked over the differences with me and next thing I knew I was driving my new GMC. I wanted to trade in my vehicle and even that was easy. Mike gave me an extremely fair quote for a trade in price and Jeff from finance made it easy with the bank process. The whole trading and buying process was quick and easy. I could not be more pleased with my new vehicle. Thank you, Jeff and everyone else at Zimbrick East!

1st car groom dealership

My boyfriend went to look at the car ahead of time for me since we work different shifts, we originally looked at other dealerships first but the sales people didn't give him the time of day nor did they come out to talk to him, he's been working on cars since he was 11*, at zimbrick Buick gmc they let him check out the car under the hood and actually talked to him. Honestly I love this car and it's great they service everyone.

Refreshing visit

We were so happy to stumble across Jeff Schummer at Zimbrick. It was absolutely refreshing to find a sales person who obviously knows his trade well—and enjoys what he does. Jeff matched us up with a vehicle after showing us several cars and listening to what was important to us. No pressure no hassle. Top notch employee and Zimbrick is lucky to have him.

Worth the trip... Duramax GMC (Buy from Jeff Schumann)

About a year ago, I traveled from NW Wisconsin (just across border from Minneapolis). Dealt with Jeff Schumann by email, text and phone and the whole deal was hassle free. Had a trade and they were fair. Small issue after the sale and was handled quickly and easily with no push-back. I’ve bought over 75 vehicles in my lifetime (at least 3 from Zimbrick) and Zimbrick dealerships are a class act... Have had an oil change since my purchase and that went flawlessly as well... I’m picky and somewhat hard to please or impress and Jeff did both. Well done,

Brad Dennis and Internet sales - top notch

I bought a used Mazda 6 from Brad Dennis @ Zimbrick and could not have been happier with the experience. I traveled 3 hours to purchase the car (found it on cars.com) and Brad made the trip worthwhile. The car was exactly as described, was priced to market, and there was no saleseman nonsense - we had a good honest dialogue about what I was looking for and what I was getting. The whole purchase experience was smooth. Brad, and the folks in finance, were friendly and explained everything every step of the way. Bonus story: there actually was a small problem with the car I found when I got home. One of the headlights was out (we didn't see this during the daytime when I made the purchase). I texted Brad and he was on it right away. I had to take the car to my local Mazda dealer anyways for a minor outstanding recall issue, so he had me have them repair the light. It was a few hundred bucks, but he didn't even blink and had Zimbrick reimburse me in full. Check arrived in 2 days. Could not have been happier, and when we replace my wife's car in 2-3 years we will totally give these guys a call, even though we live a quarter mile from 20 dealerships in my town here in Illinois.

See Tom McConnell

We stopped in late on Saturday afternoon and found a vehicle that we liked. Tom didn't use high pressure sales techniques or pressure us for time. In fact, he stayed late to do paperwork and saved us a 70 mile one way trip back to Madison. Tom doesn't forget you the moment you walk out the door - his after the sale service was also outstanding. Tom McConnell is a good man that I would recommend to anyone!

Cars.com inventory is often out of date

I found 3 cars on cars.com. called dealer. initial response was "yes car is available". Then after a while they got back to me and said "no that was sold" or "there is an offer". good thing I didn't drive the 2 hours to get there. I still see on Cars.com (2 days later) one of the cars that the dealer said was sold. So, be careful that the Cars.com availability is accurate. I don't know if the dealer is not keeping up of cars.com is not keeping up. otherwise they were pleasant and communicated well.
