The BEST one in Anchorage and the valley. We checked out many dealerships weekly for over six months before finding the perfect car for us. Everyone was always helpful, but John the best.

Highly Recommended

I purchased a new 2022 Ram 1500 Big Horn in January 2023. Lithia's dealer discount on outgoing 2022 models plus Ram's incentives made this a good deal for me instead of buying a 2023 model. I was out of the country during the purchase process, so I never stepped foot inside the Lithia South Anchorage building. However, the communication with salesman Evan Griffin via e-mail and phone was great. There was a problem with one of the Stellantis bonus cash codes not being recognized by the computer system, but through perserverance Lithia and I ultimately were able to resolve the problem and receive the bonus cash. General Manager, John, and Sales Manager, Ansel, also got involved when necessary. Overall, a great buying experience for my new truck. Highly recommended!

Purchased a vehicle with the assistance of John Palmer. He hadn't expected me to stop in, but quickly made me and my daughter comfortable while we went over the options available for me. He was more than courteous and have since been back for an oil change at the same dealership. Tank, an associate, is top notch.

By far the best car buying experience, I've ever had. John Palmer went above and beyond to meet my every request and even kept in touch after the sale to see if I continue to love my car. John Palmer was my car dealer and has been so for many yrs now he always goes out of his way to help me and my wife makes us feel like we are the only customer in the dealership and his services don’t stop after we have bought our car he follows up several times after we are gone if anyone out there is looking for a car, truck or suv you could not do better buy with John

Just got our Dodge Journey car back after three months

Just got our Dodge Journey car back after three months from Lithia. It was a complex warranty job to change the transmission out which of the lost reverse gear. It was a major struggle to do without wife’s car for such a long period of time. The majority of that waiting period was due to parts that were backordered or unavailable through supply chain difficulties. I give credit to Kenny and the service department that he took all of my 20 or so phone calls graciously and respectfully. He obviously can’t get work accomplished when parts are unavailable and we understand that. My cautionary tale would be to any future new car or used car buyer. Spend the extra money on the extended warrantee $2900. our final repair/replacement cost ended up being about $8000 which we only had to pay $100 deductible. Without the warranty we would never have been able to cover it. The car seems to be running well and I think Lithia did their best to give us service that was needed. Last bit of advice don’t call these poor guys screaming and threatening because they’re doing their best every day to feed their families just like everyone else. Mechanical work is never easy and there are always surprises that you cannot plan for.

We have bought a couple vehicles from this dealership

We have bought a couple vehicles from this dealership over the past 4 years and decided to go in this past Saturday to check out a 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit. I've been eye balling these bad boys for about a year now. I went in the dealership thinking I was not going to be buying a car today but was curious what they would offer me. Dave Franco and Patrick went over and beyond to make me one happy lady. I have some sass and frass and don't tolerate nonsense. These men were absolutely amazing and did everything possible to make sure I walked out of there with my dream car. We finished up with Jared in finance who was beyond amazing. He doesn't BS around, straight to the point, and did everything possible to make my life easier and my payment more affordable. If I could give Lithia and David Franco more than five stars, I absolutely would. It is always a blast when we go in and always nice to see Kevin's face as well. Love you guys and will definitely be in next year to buy our daughters car, you’re all rockstars!!

Scheduled an appt for have our Ram looked at over four

Scheduled an appt for have our Ram looked at over four weeks advance. The truck was running rough. Took it in Sept. 26th and took over a week before it got looked at. Got a call and was told, "we need to change the spark plugs." I asked how much. Kenny told me, "around $1300 and WE'LL GO FROM THERE IF THAT FIXES THE PROBLEM." Are you kidding me? Doesn't your techs have equipment to solve this. I declined and was charge $380 just to get my truck back.

Bill, our understanding is that your truck was towed here, not able to start. We got it running and diagnosed the rough running issue that was included in the final invoice. You chose to do the plugs on your own. A misfire can be hard to diagnose and we do our best to find the least expensive solution for our customers. Wrong. When we made the appt. the truck wasn't running. I DID get the truck running two days BEFORE it was towed in and I didn't want to take a chance breaking down on the road. And I specifically told Kenny that as well. One: you did not get the truck running. Two: it was NOT bad spark plugs like Kenny claimed and wanted an ABSURD amount $1300 and, "we'll go from there." story.
