Good times, Friendly enviroment
I went thru Costco’s vehicle buying program and got connected with John Palmer who called me back the next day to inquire as to what I was looking for, so I told him and he said he had a Rubicon coming in. The color was not what I wanted and we left it at that. After viewing several You Tube videos about Jeeps with Skytops, I decided I wanted one so relooked at Lithia's on line inventory and saw a MOAB with a skytop in the right color. So the wife and I took a ride to south Anchorage to view this thing of beauty, Looked at it and decided yeah boy, I like it. Hanna Poster was walking thru the lot and just as friendly as can be asked if she could help so I let her know that we wanted to check out the MOAB and that I had already talked to John Palmer so she offered to go get him. Now I didn't have an appointment but that did not bother good ole John with the I can get it done attitude. We all took a test drive and got back to the dealer and John’s scheduled appointment had arrived so I told him I would talk to him later. Next day I showed up and John and I got down to business. The numbers I wanted did not match up with the numbers he wanted so we just had a friendly chat with no pressure on buying, on the way out he introduce me to John Okoniewski in the Management Department so for the next 20 minutes or so had a conversation first about the Jeep which led into to other areas of interest. Just a super guy to talk to. After leaving John Okoniewski’s office John Palmer asked me to my surprise if I would like to actually take the MOAB for about a day to run around in. I thanked him but declined. Got in touch later with the wife and told her what the price difference was and that I was ready to fly down south and drive a Rubicon back (already had a price arraigned for Out The Door) but she decided that she liked this one and it was local. The short answer is we bought local and every person I came in contact with at South Lithia Chrysler are just as friendly as can be and bend over backward to try to help you out anyway they can.
