Bob Penkhus Mazda at Powers

We've purchased 5 cars from Bob Penkhus on Powers and had a great experience with each one. Brian Garside, Rich (GM), and the finance guys are great. They really make you feel like part of the family and not just another sale. Our most recent purchase was a Lincoln MKS. I LOVE this car. We purchased a 2010 Toyota RAV 4 and a 2002 Toyota Camry. Our sales representative, Ivan Muniz, was very courteous and helpful. He listened well and offered many possible selections for us at the time. They even brought some vehicles over from another one of their locations that we were interested in, saving us further trips. The cars we tested drove well. The cars had been previously serviced by the mechanics at Bob Penkus and were very well prepared for delivery. The finance process was very good and they try to find the best rates through the variety banks they use. They all really work hard to please.

I had very good experience. The salesman, Ivan was friendly and helpful and made it very easy to do business with them. I drove down from Fort Collins early Saturday morning, test drove the car, worked out the deal and was back in Fort Collins by one o:clock that afternoon. I would definitely buy from them again.

I bought my car December 27th and was promised all my repairs would be done. 6 weeks later and 4 loaner cars I finally get my car back. This was the worst car buying experience of my life! They promise and promise and never follow through! Do not buy a car here! I feel we were extremely patient and kind they never even had to worry about any financing. We paid cash for the car. Terrible place to buy a vehicle!

I'm sure this has happened before but I dealt fairly, openly and honestly with the sales rep, I brought in a pre-qualified loan, drove the vehicle and was an hour into the process when he came in and said the vehicle was sold. We contacted these guys, drove an hour one way to see them, told them we were buying and still it was sold out from under us. Maybe there was a good reason for that but I have a good reason for rating this dealer as "poor".

I hope this gets back to the dealership where I purchased my car ( Bob Penkhus). I recently came into to look at a car that maybe someday I would get. Needless to say I fell in Love with a Volvo C70. My sales guys name was Kevin and he was training a new guy (sorry don't remember his name), anyways they talked me into a test drive and it wasn't just some little test drive down the road they said go where ever you want and take as long as you need. 2days later I went into the dealership and purchased my new car. From the moment I arrived I was treated like I was the only person in the room. Kevin and his boss were so amazing. Once the deal was done, Kevin drove me to my new car that was parked in the show room with a huge red ribbon on it, I wanted to just give him a huge hug. I have bought many cars from allot of different dealers and I can truly say that Kevin and Bob Penkhus has the most wonderful customer service ever... I will only purchase from them in my future car buying... I would recommend them to anyone. Thank you so much for making this a very wonderful experience... Lets face it usually buying a car is horrible!

So There I was... Two weird negative points - Made what I thought was a completed signed offer. Unfortunately when it was time to deliver, it was a case of over promising/late delivery. I got the management team engaged and they were able to make corrections and honor the signed purchase agreement. - Dealership added ~$850 in fees to their attractive no haggle price. So when you go in make sure you understand the Out the Door Price for new and used cars. Positives: The truck was in the condition they said it was (I found 4 mis-represented vehicles in supposedly retail condition that wasn't) We were able to work through the issues and close the deal...at a great price.

We bought our Volvo at Bob Penkhus. We not only got a great price, but they also were able to get better finance terms with our credit union than we had made for ourselves. When our car developed problems, they took the time to thoroughly diagnose and repair the problem. While doing so, they found several other issues and fixed them at no cost to us. And to top it all off, they washed the car when they were done with it. You find out about a company when there is a problem. Bob Penkhus Volvo went above and beyond requirements for us; I cannot recommend them highly enough.
