Bait and switch
Bait and switch. In today's world, you would expect that these types of techniques are done with. Not true with Napleton Kia of Elmhurst. After spending a few thousand on repairs at their Acura dealership last month, I thought I'd give their Kia side a chance as I was in the market for a new car. I looked on their website and saw a car I was interested so I clicked on their green "Get Today's Price" which is supposed to give me their "special price quote by email" according to the communication online. I received an email that said my price was basically the same as the MSRP. I made the trip out to the dealership to test drive the vehicle and was ready to make the purchase at the price quoted on the email that was "Today's Price". At this point, the salesman (Thad) told me that the price I was provided on email was a miscommunication and that they wanted $10-15K over the MSRP. He brought in his sales manager and he said the exact same thing and looked at me utterly confused when I asked him what the purpose of the green button on their website was for. He said it was to provide the MSRP which is already on their site. Needless to say I will not be shopping at Napleton in the future and be wary of these sleazy tactics. They try to lure you in and then not honor their pricing which they advertise.

I did get a response about the car I wanted, but the email he sent from came back no such person, he included his phone number so I called and got no answer, I texted that number go no answer, I got another email from a female this time with a nice video ofnthe car I wanted I responded back to her and that email worked which she forwarded to guy with none working email. Thursday night I got a hold of sale guy there and he came back and told me car was sold. I tried tobget a hold of them from Monday. No big deal. They really want your phone number which I never give as they just won't let up, when they have it.

HORRIBLE
TERRIBLE...I went to purchase a new 2022 Kia Seltos that they had IN STOCK. Was told If I didn't agree to pay $6500.00 over sticker price I could not even test drive the vehicle..UNBELIEVABLE..Nothing says trying to take advantage of a pandemic than PRICE GOUGING...SHAME ON YOU ED AND YOUR ENTIRE STAFF. I drove 30 miles west to ELGIN KIA and was welcomed with open arms. They could not believe how I was treated. I test drove and purchased a brand new Kia Seltos for sticker price with no other xxxxxxxx upcharges....ELGIN KIA has my business, my families' business and anyone else I can tell about this for life.

Wilson worked at understanding my needs, working within my budget and made the process of purchasing a used vehicle as easy as he could. After the car was paid for he handed me the single key to the vehicle. I was extremely disappointed that the single key was not disclosed or allowed for in the trade.
