Nick was awesome!

Nick was awesome! We walked in off the street with a pretty extensive list of wants Nick was able to quickly identify two new vehicles that were available for purchase! He Did a great job of articulating the benefits of each model without putting a ton of pressure on us to choose one way or the other. In less than two days we drove Off the lot with an amazing new car!

Don't buy a certified pre-owned vehicle from Sears

Don't buy a certified pre-owned vehicle from Sears Imported Auto! I purchased a certified pre-owned Mercedes from them and after driving it for a couple of months, the “check engine light” came on. I also heard what sounded like a scraping noise coming from the front passenger side (this is important). I brought it into Sears and after checking it out, they said that they couldn’t find anything wrong that would have caused the light to go on, so they reset it. They also said that the scraping sound was because the underside of the vehicle had been damaged. They said that I must have run over something. It was a small tear and they just trimmed it so it wouldn’t scrape. No sooner had I left the dealership, when the “check engine light” came on again. I took it back to Sears and after checking it out again, they said that it must be a faulty sensor and that they would have to order a new one. When it came in, I again returned to Sears to have it installed. A few days later, the light came on again! Back to the dealership I went. This time they said that the tear that was causing the initial scraping sound was improperly repaired with staples and that I must have brought the vehicle somewhere else to be repaired, as they would never have repaired it that way. Why would I have brought it somewhere else when it was under warranty? They said that if it was was done before I purchased the vehicle, it would have been caught during the inspection, yet it took them four services to discover it. They refused to fix it, so I decided to do a little investigating. I went to the dealership where it was previously purchased and pulled the service record. What did I find out? The Mercedes had run over something, damaging the rim of the front passenger side tire! Armed with this information, I went back to Sears and explained to them what I had discovered. Despite the service record, they said that they still wouldn’t fix the problem! Unbelievable! Obviously, I will never again purchase a vehicle from Sears Imported Auto again.
