they helped me get the car i was looking at but they gave it to me with an empty tank of gas, and whenever i texted them to talk about the car or when i would get my plates it took the a very long time to respond. sometimes up to a day.

BUYER BEWARE! I purchased a beautiful looking truck on...

BUYER BEWARE! I purchased a beautiful looking truck on the 5th of Jan, and I’ve seen it about 4 times, each time its been on the way to the shop, were it is to this very day. The sales experience was positive. However, the nightmare began the day after leaving the lot. The vehicle’s Service Engine Light(SEL) came on during the drive back to Northern Va. I took it to a local dealer and had it checked. The dealer told me the codes were permeant codes that were cleared so the SEL would go off. The Service Advisor also stated that there maybe more than the 5 codes but it wouldn’t know until they come back since the only codes he could see the history on were the permeant codes, not any pending. I had it all repaired and left. Drove it work the next week and threw several other codes, which is what I’m dealing with now. Again, I had those repairs done and left. Unfortunately, its been to several different dealerships due to personal work requirements. I thought it was repaired so I drove it TDY, and the SEL not only came back on, but went into reduced power mode due to the codes. This vehicle is now on its 4th stay at a GMC dealership in under 30 days. At the price of the sale you’d think the LA Auto would be more willing to offer assistance. Instead of any sort of compensation for the thousands of dollars of out of pocket cost in repairs and lost time away from work dealing with this nightmare, I was offered to be upsold an additional service. Why would I trust you to buy anything else from you? If Va had better lemon laws, we would be headed to court. The SEL was intentionally cleared, and that is misleading a customer, and theft by deception. For this headache, and combined cost, I could’ve bought a 2020. If you’re a Service Man or Woman, stay away. You’ll PCS and be stuck with BS. I would get the dealership blacklisted from selling to the military if I could. If your local and want a handy man special, by all means go in and purchase your hearts desire.

Bruce, first of all we would like to thank you for your business and offer our apologies for the inconvenience and troubles that you have experienced. We do offer and encourage our customers to purchase extended service contract (Warranty), with day one nationwide coverage at very reasonable coast to protect your investment, but it's up to the customer to accept or decline... We sell pre-owned cars, and we, drive, check and inspect everyone of them, but unfortunately things happen that we can't foresee. We don't leave a single issue unattended. We also offered a solution that would help with your current and future expenses but instead you have decided to leave this negative review on multiple websites. Based on what you have told us and in this review it is very possible that your GMC dealer misdiagnosed the issue in the first place and was charging you for something that was suppose to be COVERED UNDER VEHICLES FACTORY WARRANTY and known issue with this diesel truck. But instead the GMC dealer blamed it on us to cover the mistake. We hope you have looked into that! But we can't say for sure...We have been doing business in this area for over 20 years under the same name. Selling quality cars to active duty military members, veterans and our civilian patrons. Never been blacklisted, opposite, we are on a recommended list by the Navy to purchase cars from. We are rated in the top 7 best used car dealer in Virginia Beach. One more time, thank you for the business! LA Auto Star management.

Great and Helpful service

Both Johann and Marina were very straight forward about the car buying process. They seemed to look out for my best interest by being honest and recommending what I should do when it came to financing. Unfortunately we couldn’t go through with the car buying but service wise I definitely recommend!!!!

How can you send something and don't have all the information. It was at the end of close of business Your words, Mr. Alton, you've visited us late afternoon and completed credit  This application was sent to the bank that same evening. You called us the following morning and asked to stop the approval process, which we did right away and your application was not send to any other finance companies. Unfortunately your request was a bit too late...I believe we've treated you with respect and definitely do not deserve this rating. I would appreciate you revisiion
