Wouldn’t honor its word
So I bought a 2011 Chevy Corvette in March 2019. When I first got it home I realized the convertible top wouldn’t automatically go down sometimes. I called the dealership and they acted like they didn’t know what I was talking about. I didn’t have the problem every time letter the top up just sometimes, so I thought it was no big deal. Well not to long ago the convertible top frame completely broke. I took it to the dealership and they tell me the warranty only covers the motor. I was extremely angered by this because they store their corvettes outside in the rain, sleet, and snow. So what that does is brings rust to the frame of the corvette convertible. Now I only had this car for less then 6 months and the frame is completely broken. Now I’m looking for a auto repair shop to look at it. The lowest estimate I received was 1600$. The dealership couldn’t help me at all. They made me drive 50miles to them just for them to tell me that the frame is not covered under warranty. They was not friendly the time I walked into their dealership. But I had to have this certain corvette. I’m not satisfied with their service not one bit. So if you get a warranty from them make sure you know what’s covered in it.

Very smooth process. Helpful salesman and finance rep
The salesman, Dustin Randant, was very helpful in explaining the rebates and and prices. He made me feel very comfortable and was not pushy or pressuring. The finance person, Ki, was very good at explaining the rates and broke down the payments. Everyone that works at the dealership is very friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend Steve Schmitt dealership to my family and friends.

Horrible dealership
They break your car when you bring it in and don't care about fixing it. Instead Mr. Schmitt wants to win a battle against a strong female. Ridiculous. And are you really not going to fix a recall that caused deaths and a major lawsuit for General Motors. I think Ms. Barra, CEO, would have a heart attack if she knew.

Absolutely awful
You take your car in to get something fixed and instead they break the car. Steve Schmitt does not call you back and he does not even feel bad. How horrible

Everything was wonderful
Steve Schmitt was wonderful and Todd Cange my salesman did a terrific job make the deal work for me. Would recommend Steve Schmitt to anyone looking to buy a vehicle.

New tires
I had new tires installed last week. Overall good job but I do have the drivers side front tire losing air. I think the valve stem is leaking. So I will need to come back.

Cruze Powertrain Extended Warranty Saves the Day!
When purchasing my 2014 Cruze the salesman Robert Rice at Lou Fuze O'Fallon recommended the extended Powertrain Warrenty. That Warranty saved the day and a ton of money this week at Steve Schmidt Highland IL. My car had suddenly experienced a problem. It was quickly diagnoised and repaired in 24 hours. All work was paid for under the Warranty. Thank you gentlemen for your quick and courteous response to my needs. Thank you Robert Rice for providing buyers with information to make sound informed decisions.

No call back
I brought my car in for an oil change & tire repair. They couldn’t find a hole in my tire (that I need to air up every day) so I was given a card with instructions to go back when my tire was flat again, after calling the service guy. So, I called twice & left a message. Never got a return phone call. I’m taking my tire to another dealer to fix.

Amazing Personnel
The personnel were amazing, as was their service. Andrew was knowledgeable and helpful, patiently answering all of our questions. Chris Martz is amazing and a joy to work with.
