So Far So Good

Overall my experience was average. Just like all car dealerships you have to go in there and fight for the price you want, with interest rates you will accept (BEST TO BRING YOUR OWN FINANCE), and to get a good quality vehicle. Garrett was my car salesman. His customer service was good. My buying process went smoothly, although I came with financing from my credit union, I used theirs. Now that I look back I wish I would have used my own because they were promising me a comparable or better rate and no one told me until it was time to sign the paperwork that their finance rates were double what my credit union offered. It would have been great to know that earlier in the buying process. Other than the finance my buying experience was fine. Now as to the quality of repairs, I have yet to experience that service because I am going in this Thursday to get the repairs that were promised to me. I bought pending my mechanics inspection. After inspecting my car he listed several things that needed to be done to get my car in perfect driving condition, and I was told to come in on Thursday March 14, 2013 for those things. I will update my experience with repairs when it is complete. However, I do know that a part for my middle console was suppose to be ordered the day I purchased and I had to call back several times to check on the part, only to find out that it had not been ordered yet. Still waiting on the outcome will update.

Poor Customer Service and Deceitful Staff

I purchased a SUV froM ALM. Adam, my salesman confirmed that there were two keys to the car. While I was completing the paperwork he was supposedly retrieving the second key. Not until I finalized the paperwork and he was escorting me out to the car did he alert me that he was unable to locate the key. He assured me that he gets keys in all the time and once a key was received he would mail it, but I would have to go the dealership to have it programmed. Over the last 5 months I have spoken with Adam several times and still no key. The first few months he said he was still waiting on the key to come in. After all the run around, I told Adam that I was going to contact the general manager about this issue, to which he responded via text, "He will not provide you with a key it is not on the we owe...But feel free to call him." During a subsequent phone call from Adam he said that he has a very bad memory, but he would make good on his word and provide the key just as he did the manual and remote that was also not listed on the "we owe" list. Later that day I received a text for Adam confirming that the "key had been mailed out." four days later he sent me a text that I should receive the key that day or the next-- now granted Snail mail is slow, but not that slow I live in GA. Five days later i get a text that the front desk lady had been out sick, but she mailed the key out for sure that day by USPS. It's now eight days later and still no key. You can never reach the GM, so I'm left to speak with a sales manager Chad. I told him the situation and he claimed he would call back. Days later no call back. I called today, he claims he hasn't spoken with Adam, but the key is not on the "owe list" so they if it didn't come in from the auction, basically he's not going to do anything about it. He appeared to have no concern that his sales guy is a liar and strung me on for months about the key. The service after the sales is definitely unsatisfactory. Lets not mention that less than 24 hours after the sale I contacted the dealership about retracting their financing and going with my original financing plan and no would call me back.

sometime used cars come with one key or two keys. we have satisfied this customer.

Great service!

I recently was in the market for a new car. I was doing lots or research and the prices and selection that I saw online led me to Atlanta Luxury Motors. When I arrived I was greeted by Garrett. He did a great job with the whole process. He showed us a few different cars and suvs. We drove two of them and decided to purchase an Infiniti FX35. The negotiation was very easy because I knew what these cars were going for at other dealerships and this one was priced below the competitors by a few thousand. Atlanta Luxury Motors has great cars, prices, and employees. I would suggest my friends and family to Garrett and Atlanta Luxury motors.

Good job!

While looking for a preowned Nissan Maxima I came across Atlanta Luxury Motors. My salesman Garrett Banks was great! I came in and drove the car during the week. I wanted to show it to my wife so he had the car cleaned up and looking top of the line when she saw it for the first time. He was patient throughout the process, made suggestions, but let me make my own decision. I will be contacting him when I am ready to make my next purchase! Thanks Garrett and Atlanta Luxury Motors!!!!

Wary at first, GREAT experience after!

Armed with fairly good and really bad reviews on this dealer, we went to ALM at Gwinnett to check it out. Admittedly we were a little wary going in, everyone that buys a car just doesn't want to be scammed. I was a little nervous and hesitant to purchase from a dealer I hadn't even heard of. I also had somehow convinced myself that a big dealership is a "safer" choice. Our sales guy was very nice - seemed a tiny bit anxious and used straight-from-the-manual sales tactics - but with that much money on the line for a sale, who wouldn't. We entertained his efforts and were patient through the negotiations. We gave a list of our demands prior to purchase, and they accommodated every one without hesitation. Not only did they agree to our offer on price, their financing department smoked our bank's auto rate by 3 points! They also set us up with a great warranty to protect our purchase. Great place to buy used luxury. Keep an open mind and let them offer you some incentives - if you are not easily impressed, then a new car from a big box dealer might be a better fit for you. If you are willing to compromise on color/features/year/etc they have lots of options for you. We feel like we walked away with a great deal, great service, and could not be more pleased. Give them a chance to impress you.

Example: Great service, clean facilities

I bought a used BMW 335i from this dealer at what I thought was a great price. It was a certified used car with a clean carfax.Three months after the purchase a "check headlights"warning appeared on the dash and when I took it to my local BMW dealer,I was told that the car had been in an accident with significant front end damage which had simply been covered up and needed $7000 worth of repairs.the front wheel well was even missing! When I brought this to the attention of the folks at this dealership, they denied knowledge of any accidents and offered to buy the car back for almost $5000 less than I paid for it.If you buy from these guys, make sure you have the car inspected by someone you trust before you buy.I wish I had.

Buyers Beware of ALM!

BUYERS BEWARE! This dealership will play switch-a-roo with you when purchasing a vehicle. They will tell you the car is available over the phone, but when you arrive they suddenly just sold it. Also, they change the price when you arrive to purchase the vehicle. Getting 2 keys is NOT going to happen. They will tell you the key is on the way from the auto auction. You will never get the extra key and the saleperson will lie to you a couple times until they finally tell you that there is no key because it got lost. Also, please do a Carfax! ALM does sell cars that have been in an accident and they don't tell you this when you purchase the vehicle. The service depatment is awful! You would think that they would value a customer who spends $30,000 or $60,000 enough to professionally detail the vehicle prior to presenting to a customer. Their sevice/detail department is by far the worst in the state. To say they half-wash a car is a compliment!

Shady Dealership

The previous reviews regarding ALM are spot-on. ALM is a typical used car shop. I was treated like royalty prior to and during the purchase process. Upon calling to voice my concerns about an alignment, tires, and a trunk issue the unprofessionalism commenced. I was told "we don't care about mixed matched tires" "you should've place it on the "I owe list" and "we don't owe you anything." ALM has no regards for their customers or just proper business etiquette. Buyer beware!

Stay Away!

I called and asked about details on a vehicle and was told it was in pristine condition except for a visible defect shown in pictures online. I was assured that the defect could be repaired before my arrival the next day from over four hours away, out of state. I had to setup a deposit in order to ensure this. After phone calls to my salesman the next morning, I ensured that everything was in place and I headed to the dealership. I also verified what items I needed in order to purchase the vehicle ( I said up front I would be financing through my credit union ). I was told my pre-approval letter and proof of insurance. Upon arrival the vehicle was dirty, clear coat was peeling on the vehicle, one of the powered seats did not work, check tire pressure notification was on, a check engine light, and the interior was dirty and in poor condition. AND the defect that I was assured would be fixed, was not repaired?DEFINITELY not in pristine condition! I was offered several excuses and told I was still getting a good deal even with the listed concerns. My salesman then disappears not to be seen again and I talk with the floor manager who tells me they do not want to do any additional work on the car and will just deduct the amount from the purchase price; never mind I'd have to go somewhere and still pay labor for the repairs. Then, the sales manager comes to speak with me and asks my concerns. He proceeds to tell me I would have to finance through them because they do not accept out of state pre approval letters and everything I had been assured over the phone was incorrect. He was very unprofessional and almost to the point of being rude. After driving 4 +hours, you think the least they could do would provide you with a clean vehicle to potentially buy and be courteous professionals. Watch out for ALM, they provide false information all the way around!

The sales person should have been clear, a pre- approval letter is not a check and not negotiable. If you had a bank draft or check that would have been acceptable.

I won't buy from Atlanta Luxury motors.

I went to get an RX350 from Atlanta Luxury Motors. After very very long wait, they did not get the car I wanted. So they started pushing me very hard to buy me any and every toyota they had in stock. Also while I was there, they asked me to sign few papers they said for finance. Later I realized that they had applied credit card from at least 10 banks with my information and all of which affected my credit report like anything. They NEVER informed me that they are applying credit cards on my behalf with my information.!!!!

We do not apply for credit cards here. If you were attempting to get a car financed then we can help with that.
