A no hassel oil change
In a busy world we live in it is great to be able to drop off our car for service after hours. We received a phone call letting us know that the service requested has been completed and that our vehicle was ready to be picked up. We stopped in to pick up the vehicle and we asked a few questions and Eric answered all our questions concerning our car.

Excellent Service and very personable experience.
I was met at the door by Mike Tanguay. My first thought was "Oh No" here comes a high sales pitch. I was pleasantly proved wrong. Mike is a very professional sales person who put us at ease within the first few minutes. I knew what I wanted in appointments in a vehicle and the price I could afford, but had no idea what brand or model would meet our needs and expectations. Mike made several suggestions and recommended several specific vehicles. We focused on a 2017 Chevy Equinox and Mike gave us a complete detailed presentation of what that vehicle offered. We took it for a drive and after some negotiation purchased the car. I don't remember the assistant sales manager's name but when I made a counter offer, he didn't just say no but rather sat down with us and explained why he needed to stay at the price they offered it to us at. I was impressed with his explanation and his genuine desire for us to understand his position. Finally we were taken to the finance person's office where we finished the deal. Not only was he very professional but personable as well. Our experience at Lima Auto Mall was excellent from start to finish and I will recommend you to all my friends. Disappointing Purchase
BUYERS BEWARE. Unfortunately, I cannot give negative stars with my experience pertaining to Lima Auto. In December 2018, I purchased a Certified Cadillac SRX at Lima Auto Mall. The team at Lima Auto worked with me, and I thought I had a great deal when I left the door. However, I was completely mistaken. In just four months of owning the vehicle, I've had two significant services done with limited miles on the car. I reached out to the sales team to discuss these issues. The Sales Manager, Ryan, was disrespectful to myself and my family. Ryan's lack of professionalism and ill-mannered behavior is concerning to customers and reveals how Lima Auto operates. Once a deal has been reached, then they care less about any services, questions, or needs that you may have in the future. Moving forward, I will be taking my business elsewhere. Hope this review is beneficial to all vehicle consumers in Northwest Ohio!

Lima Auto Mall would like to apologize for any concern or issue that you may have experienced after your purchase. We also would like to address your concerns in regard to your experience after your purchase. As a dealership owned by the same family for over 115 years, we take these matters very seriously. The SRX that was purchased, as all certified Cadillacs do, went through a stringent 172 point inspection before it was placed out on the lot for sale. After reading your review, and working with you through your follow up visits, we reread the inspection and found that it did pass all 172 points and met all the requirement set in place by Cadillac themselves to be considered certified. As we understand, from your correspondence and multiple phone calls several months after your visit, one of the concerns that you had was the tires needed to be replaced. Again, in looking back at the inspection, it acknowledges the tread depth on the tires which passed the Cadillac minimum requirements as of the time that you purchased the vehicle. At that time the SRX had approximately 28,700 miles on it. Months later, during your call with Ryan Swaney, you also acknowledged that the vehicle at that time had over 40,000 miles on it. Unfortunately, one of the items that we cannot control on a vehicle is how it will be driven and to what length on a set of tires. That said, we again want to apologize if the tires need replaced at that time but, after you have had possession of the vehicle for more than a few months and have driven nearly 12,000 miles more during that time, we are unable to purchase tires for you as requested. Unfortunately, tires are a necessity but also a responsibility of ownership. We also would like to address your concern for dealing with other members of your family. As a dealership we take privacy very seriously as well. That said, unfortunately, if a family member calls, as they did with one of your concerns, we cannot always go over details of the purchase or give other information regarding to, so as to keep the privacy and security of each of our customers in tact. We can understand that how this can be perceived as rude or a lack of willingness to help. If you would like to have a family member help fulfill any concerns with your purchase or future services here with Lima Auto Mall, please let us know and we will have you fill out a written letter requesting us to release information to folks other than yourself. Apparently You Can Not Question the Service Manager
My husband and I just moved to the area. My car needed an oil change so we decided to try the dealership at Lima. Walked in and the man who checked me in was extremely nice (no complaints at all with him) . After about an hour and a half , he comes back and says that someone broke a bolt on my wheel during my tire rotation and they are fixing it for free and was sorry for the wait. (Again no complaints about him) . After a bit , another guy comes back and tells us the car was ready (this I believe was the Service Manager , Keith, from what I looked up on your staff page online. My husband questioned him on what happened. When we walked out to get in the car, my husband asked which tire it was because it's our property, something was broke on it and we are allowed to ask questions. Keith then said "I DONT KNOW WHY YOU DONT BELIEVE ME " referring to the story he told my husband I side. He handed my husband the bolt , which wasnt rusted at all , and Keith then proceeded with more complete attitude . I said we are allowed to ask questions as the customer , by husband handed him the bolt back and said we wont be back and Keith yelled "Good" and opened the garage door. Now with that said he did take 30 off the bill which was appreciated. We just wanted to know how it happened and which tire it was. I was getting ready to drive this back to Lakeview. It was so extremely rude I was beside myself. I felt totally uncomfortable asking any kind of question or even being in the garage. It was rude beyond belief. I really dont think we should have paid for any of it based on all that. And it was a shame because literally everyone else there was nice , including the salesman inside and the nice woman at the counter. He ruined the whole experiance because clearly you are not able to question something when they break something on your car.

We want to apologize for a bad experience. There is never an excuse for not responding to any customers questions in a polite, kind manner. We also want to sincerely thank you for the positive comments in regard to our other employees. We had an issue, took care of the issue, and it unfortunately turned it into a poor experience.
