This was a long distance purchase and I had a trade as part of the deal. Rob Koch and the team at BMW of Reading gave me a fair deal on my trade and I am very happy with the car I purcahsed. The car was as described on their web-site and there was no last minute negotiating once I showed up at the dealership. The price we negotiated was the price I received for my trade - and paid for the car. They even helped me pick out snow tires and rims which were installed before I picked up the car. Great overall experience. Highly recommend Rob and the team at BMW of Reading.

Bad Experience: Repeatedly
It's official. I will not buy a car from this dealer. I have ventured to this dealer a few times without purchasing a car because the overall experience is unacceptable. In some cases you don't want to be bombarded at the door but this dealership takes relaxed buying environment to a completely different level. No one speaks to you upon arrival, you have to search for a sales person and once you're greeted the attitude is very "standoffish". As if you owe them something. I am a Reading, Pa native and being subjected to lies from a local dealer - wow. I attempted to buy a car a year ago, called in and spoke with a dealer, they advised the car I wanted was on the boat and should be here any day and that in would receive a call to test drive / note; I still haven't heard a word. Not a good experience at all. If you don't walk in with a briefcase of money they WILL prejudge you. Beware. Very unfortunate since I've purchased from Masano before. I didn't have these issues both times I purchased from Mercedes Benz right down the street.

In locating the BMW I was looking for, I had a very good experience at BMW of Reading. My salesperson, Rob Koch, took the time to review the BMW 535xi I was interested in and was very easy to work with. After I purchased the car, Rob took time to explain the operation of the BMW and answered all of my queries. I looked at CPO BMWs at other dealerships in my area, but BMW of Reading by far had the largest inventory and best prices. I would highly recommend purchasing your next BMW at BMW of Reading!

My husband and I returned to BMW of Reading as loyalty customers. We were looking to turn in my vehicle in hopes of getting another BMW with lower mileage. We walked out with not just one, but TWO, BMWs! Rick Lauter was our Client Advisor. He was extremely professional, helpful, and patient. He helped us find a 328xi that fit everything I was looking for within our price range. He was also able to find my husband an X1 in the color and "package" that served our needs. Rick is an outstanding sales person that I highly recommend for new or returning customers! Phil Franco is the Manager at BMW of Reading. Phil was able to accommodate our financial situation and work with us to get both of the cars within a price range that fit our budget. He made us feel comfortable and we knew we were getting the best deal around town. We left BMW of Reading completely satisfied with our purchases. However, after a couple days, we received a phone call from the Business Manager, Joel Powers, that he was able to help us out even more with our financials and we were extremely pleased to learn, I was receiving an even lower interest rate on the 328 and two free payments. My husband and I highly recommend this dealership and all of its work force!

Just purchased my second BMW CPO from Rob Koch at BMW of Reading. Since my first visit to the dealership in April 2010, Rob has been outstanding to work with. He is patient, funny, and extremely knowledgeable. Whether I contact him by phone, email, or text Rob always responds in an expedient manner. At time of delivery, Rob had all of the paperwork in order so as to expedite the process with the Business Manager, Joel Powers. Joel was friendly and professional, and made the paperwork process a breeze. Rob thoroughly explained all of the vehicle's features, and gave me as much time as needed to get comfortable and familiar with both of my vehicles. He didn't rush me out the door assuming I would be comfortable with my new vehicle since it was my second BMW. The Service Department is very accommodating and professional. I never doubt that my vehicle will not be mishandled while in its custody. I cannot say enough how much I enjoy dealing with everyone at BMW of Reading. I look forward to continuing my relationship with them for many years to come.

Chad Wallace was very professional and easy to work with....
Chad Wallace was very professional and easy to work with. He was very patient while we checked out the used vehicle we purchased, including allowing us to put it up on a lift and check underneath. I would work with him again in the purchase of a new vehicle.

I just leased a new 2014 BMW X1 with Chad Wallace of BMW Reading! Chad worked to find me the exact car I wanted. He was friendly and professional. He was easy to communicate with and his follow up was spectacular. I have worked with other BMW dealerships in the past and found this experience to be much more pleasant. I would highly recommend, Reading BWM and Chad Wallace.

I had been to three other dealerships earlier in the day...
I had been to three other dealerships earlier in the day looking for a specific model I found the model on the BMW of Reading website and called Robert Koch was given my call and let me know the model type was in fact available for a test drive and he could arrange one that evening if I was going to drive the 70 miles to look at the vehicle He came across to me as a very honest salesman and I am a fair judge of that having been in corporate America for 40 years My wife (was to be her car) did the test drive and got all her questions answered I had done my homework on Edmunds, etc., but I had no intention of buying the car that night until Rob came gave me the very good price. Rob made sure my wife was very comfortable with the car when we picked it up and has since followed up offering additional assistance on any systems where my wife would like help. I have been purchasing vehicles since 1965 and Rob is the first salesman who I truly believed was being fully open and honest with me. I know my wife will continue to love her new 335i x-drive sport line for a long time

Purchased a CPO 3 Series at this dealership. Chad was a grounded and affable individual who made the process easy and pleasant. Test rides were not rushed and were taken on routes that allowed the abilities of the vehicle to be made evident. Pressure to purchase was nonexistent; he merely made the cars available and knowledgably answered my questions, and addressed my concerns. Car was immaculate at delivery and hard to discern from new. Joel Powers was also terrific in his Business Manager role.

My experience with Chad Wallace and BMW of Reading was excellent. Chad was very professional both in the negotiation and when I arrived. My transaction involved a purchase and a trade and I felt that we negotiated a fair deal wihout the duress sometimes experienced when buying a new car. This dealer has a high standard of customer service and I was lucky to have found them. We negotiated the deal over the phone, I received excellent finance rates, the car was in impeccable condition when delivered and it was worth the 4 hour drive to deal with Chad and his team. I would highly recommend Chad to anyone looking to purchase a BMW. Chad spent the time to give me an excellent working knowledge of the vehicle (my first BMW) and I was able to enjoy satellite radio and blue tooth phone calls on the way home. I was fully informed of the extended service plans and warranty plans available, but was never pressured to purchase. Joel in finance completed the transaction without delay and I was on my way as quickly as could be expected.
