I felt scammed
I just got home from buying a used car from Gillman Subaru North. The car is great and the asking price was fair. When it came to time to pay, there was and extra charge of $995 on the invoice. I was told this was for window tinting and Nitro gas in the tires and that this is customary with all cars sold there. I could not decline the add-ons as they were already in place. I complained that this was not shown on the list price but my complaint fell on deaf ears. I was told "all cars get this" and "every dealer does this". I had put a deposit down to hold the car or I would have walked out. This is a very poor way to treat a cash paying customer and I wouldn't recommend this dealer or the salesman Michael Jamarillo. I will not return to this dealership.

Bought a car from them
I recently purchased a 2019 Toyota corolla, and the car was fantastic and clean without any problems. This is my first purchase from a dealer and I am satisfied with the purchase. However, please be prepared to be treated well and great customer service on your purchase day. And then, when you go back for any additional help, they treat you really like someone who is not wanted on their premises. After they denied my repeated calls for almost a week or two, I had to visit them in person that is an hour away and also take my day off to submit my cancellation form for the extended warranty. After somehow, I got my cancellation form from them, but still, I am not sure if they forwarded it to my loan finance company yet. If I do not receive my refund, I plan to file a case with my lawyer and file a complaint in BBB if it's not filed before my contract expires. Apart from that, I feel their cars are great and nice dealer. But don’t expect any great customer service from them after the day of purchase lol.

Gilman Subaru North
Their showroom and service area waiting lounge are great! I appreciate their service advisors - they're real experts and very accommodating. I also bought my Subaru Ascent Touring with them. I've been loving the experience with my 3rd Subaru so far!

My visit to Gillman for Service
Went to Gillman Subaru for 12-month check on my Subaru Ascent. Waiting area was nice, roomy enough for social distancing. Service advisor was courteous and helpful, kept me informed. Service was fast and I was through before I knew it.
