Inspect before you leave

Left out items that were in ad, when I notified them they refused to get them for me. Car wasn't ready for scheduled appointment. Management never returned calls or voicemails. Disappointed to spend what I did and be treated poorly. They care about one thing- closing the deal, after that you are on your own...

Oil change and tire rotation

I scheduled my appointment online and got an email confirmation. When I arrived at my appointment, my vehicle was taken in promptly and serviced in the timeframe that I was told when I dropped it off.

Be Careful

I wanted to give a heads up to anyone interested in shopping for a used car here. I found a used truck advertised and filled out all the paperwork to try to buy, this included the trade in appraisal. The trade in value the website gave me was $ 24,500. I thought wow that's great let's go see the other truck. The dealership called and arranged an appointment to visit on 12/28/20. I brought my checkbook, title and emptied my old truck. I then drove the 35 miles to their dealership. The truck I was looking at was as expected except it did not have the premium audio the ad mentioned. Took the test drive and told my sales person.......yes let's do it. Well guess what the 24,500.00 they mentioned to get to their dealership had been reduced to 19,800.00. That's a pretty big difference. I was disappointed but offered to meet them almost all the way. My offer would of meant they would of offered me $ 21,000.00 for my truck. This is me buying their truck at their asking price. No go, to me it is they knew exactly what they were doing ....a form of bait and switch, let's get the customer to use up hours of their day......once we get him here we will change our terms!!! Believe me it's not the money......it's the principle. I would warn anyone to be very careful before wasting any of their time with this dealer.

Purchasing a new car at Lunghamer Chevrolet was easy and relaxed. After signing on cars.com a representative called me and we talked about what I was looking for. The representative made an appointment for me with Mike Yazak. When I arrived for the appointment the car was pulled ahead and waiting for me to inspect and take for a test drive.

It was wonderful experience in buying car with Joe Lunghamer. Seems like sales person was very professional and ready for adjustment. there was no false hope for price and they were ready to provide as much discount as much was possible. Best part was, once car model and price agreed, it took less than 1 hour in getting delivery. There was no hidden price like registration, destination, sales tax, etc.

Lunghamer Chevy - Waterford, MI

I received an email to turn my lease in early. I went there and explained my financial situation and he said that the remaining payments would be "taken care of." We have leased before from other makers so I figured that was that - there would be no responsibility from the old lease brought into the new lease. I signed an odometer statement and went on my merry way and then was told I would be getting a bill for around $6,000 for mileage overage AFTER my car was sold at auction when I couldn't do anything about it. When I called to complain, the sales manager said that although HIS SALES PERSON should have asked me if I was over on miles, I will have to pay and there is no way to get my old car back and get his lease undone. He continued to talk over me the entire conversation and didn't let me get a word in edgewise. After telling me that HIS person made a mistake, I am the one getting screwed. I am furious, sad and totally feel taken advantage of - likely because I was a woman. This is a deceptive practice and I will not be shy in offering my opinion to those who inquire and will be asking around as to our options. Even if they had met us halfway and just offered to pay half our bill that would have been acceptable especially since it was THEIR sales man who made the mistake in not asking us if we were over on miles. Super disappointed. I expected more as we had a great experience with the lease of our first Chevy and loved the service department. We find them to be very honest but this has ruined it and this is how you LOSE CUSTOMERS. We will never again lease from GM and we certainly will advise friends to go to a more honest dealership - and there are plenty around.
