Terrible Communication from their sales depart,ent.

Terrible Communication from their sales depart,ent. I began negotiation on a 2023 Hyundai Sante Fe and was planning on driving up to see the car and they just stopped interacting with me. After multiple attempts to reach them and their sales manager Tim Henderson, I finally was able to get in touch with a sales rep who informed me the car we were negotiating on was sold the night before. No attempt to reach out to me and tell me this...just left me hanging. I would NEVER do business with Tim Hawthorne Hyundai again Jim

A great experience

Our salesman (Met) and the team were great throughout the experience. We never felt that we were being pressured which made it enjoyable. The manager Tim and Christian in Finance also were very friendly during our experience adding to our satisfaction. We would definitely recommend giving Hyundai of Gastonia a visit to anyone in the market for a vehicle.

Very upset and embarrassed customer

My husband and myself have waited on the general manger to return our call he reached out to my husband about an issue of how horrible our financial manger treated us after we hve brought three cars from them but after two days he still hasn't called back he is always n a meeting when my husband try to call him back I understand we may not be important to them as customer but we have valued the car purchases we have had there but as we can clearly see that we aren't important enough to keep your word and call back at 2.30 like he had said we was so embarrassed that day in the dealership after we was told to add the car to our insurance and cleaned it up had us make sure it was ok and after my children was at excited at the last second the financial manger said there was an issue now mind u we had already been offered and accepted the deal we was horriblely embarrassed in front of everyone as we had to walk out the door with out the car that we had already accepted the offer on my children was so upset all we ask was to not be offered a deal and make my family excited that we had gotten another vehicle from the dealership I don't understand why the financial manger didn't make sure everything was a done deal before we was told to add the car to the insurance and everything and then embarrassed my family so bad I just don't understand why he let the deal go so far my salesman didn't even knw himself what had happen I have just been so upset I have always said wonderful things about the dealership and mr.james was always wonderful and made sure everything was set and ready to go before he offered us anything but now we can't even get the general manger to call us back after he reached out to us my family is just to horriblely embarrassed to make my children get out of the car and that they rode in and had cleaned for us and another thing they called me back to come back to the dealership from charoltte and said I have agreat deal that will work if yall come back I will even pay u gas money that's how sure everything was why wld you called my family and ask us to drive all the way back from charoltte so we rushed back leaving my husband grandmother and cutting her grass to make it back as soon as possible we rushed and rushed to make it back it may not be nothing to a big dealership like they are but it was big deal to me and my family

Purchasing 2021 Toyota 4Runner

Everything was smooth and easy. Salesperson was easy to speak with and very helpful throughout purchase and tracking down extra set of keys from previous owner of car.

Sale of 2023 Santa Fe

Ryan Ussery and the rest of the staff were professional, courteous, and normative important of all?not pushy of aggressive. We felt we got a fair deal and although we have not had experience with the service department yet, we hear word from friends Who are Keith Hawthorne customers that service there is phenomenal!

Chris Laws, who sold me my new car and Tim with management gave me an excellent experience. I was treated the best I?ve ever been treated and the sale went perfect! Slow repair, but not Keith Hawthorne's fault

Transmission went out December 6 on my 2022 Sonata N line with 11,600 miles. Car was repaired February 10. Not Keith Hawthorne's fault for the lengthy repair. You can not replace a transmission if you can not get one from Hyundai. At least Keith Hawthorne put me in a nice 2023 Sonata for the full time awaiting the repair.
