207 miles was well worth the trip!

Nick is a rockstar! We couldn't find the exact car with the high end amenities we wanted - so we searched for the car specifics and then extended the mile range of dealers. 207 miles away from home, we found Prestige & Nick! They walked us through the buying process and were 15-20% less than ALL other dealers within 300 miles of us. He had the car ready to go 7 days early and accommodated our travels. These gentlemen have GREAT deals and really excellent customer service. Give them a call - they will find the EXACT car you want, even if you are 3 states away! **Nick for President! The car has been nothing but a money pit!

My wife and I purchased a used vehicle from Prestige last month. We didn't even get the vehicle home and the check engine light came on saying we needed a new catalytic converter. We called Prestige and they allowed us to bring the vehicle in to be serviced so we did. A day later they called to pick it up because it was "fixed". We drove it home and my wife drove it to work, on the way to work the check engine light came back on. So we took it back to be serviced again. The service technician called us that day and told us it was "fixed" again and that they had messed up and put the wrong O2 sensor in it because they didn't realize that the model of our car was different than the other models (which is stated right in the service model and in the engine bay). My wife drove the vehicle home and the light came back on after the car went through the drive cycle, I called the technician and he said that they would take it back in, this is 2 weeks now after we purchased it, our code says we need a new catalytic converter and our gas mileage is cut in half. He told me the problem is illusive, they don't really know what it is and might have to take it somewhere special. The specific code states that it is either the O2 sensor or the catalytic converter, they replaced the O2 sensor so it must be the catalytic converter right? They say nope it might be something electrical or the fuel pump messed up. So I decided that I didn't trust them any longer and took it to a mechanic in the falls. I had them look into the code and fix the rear brakes which were making a lot of noise (which I told prestige about when we were looking at the car and they said everything was fine with them). It turns out the catalytic converter did need replaced and the rear brakes were down to the metal and the calipers were freezing. The mechanic fixed both of those, it cost me just under 1000 dollars and was not covered by the "warranty" they give you. So the check engine light for the code is fixed with the new converter which I was told was not the issue with the car...........So then another code comes on now that the catalytic converter code is cleared I need to have a solenoid replaced which will cost me another 200 dollars. Neither of these issues is covered by the "warranty" go figure. Here is the real wonderful thing. After paying the mechanic around 1200 dollars to fix the car, he tells me he wishes that we would have known him before this event because he would have told us (even though we just gave him 1200 dollars) that we should never ever buy a car from Prestige, they are known in the area for ripping people off. Wonderful. Our temp plates just ran out the car failed emissions and is still in the garage. So a month after we spend most of our savings on a car, we have a vehicle that we cannot drive...Talk about being ripped off :( So here are the list of issues so far: Turns out the carfax says the vehicle was not in any accidents however, the left fender and left door are replaced. Both sides of the car had its paint ripped off in the car wash because the paint job was terrible. Catalytic Converter had to be replaced, VVT solenoid had to be replaced. Rear brake pads, rotors, and calibers had to be replaced. Rear tires need replaced, strut boots are torn, sway bar bushings need replaced, body kill move and makes terrible noise when we drive (which we were told was the heat shield making noise and they had fixed at prestige. Other than paying a butt ton for a money pit we can still not drive (they sold us a car that we cannot pass emissions in summit) it was a great experience :( :( My advice, don't do it. They have a large selection of "good looking cars" but goodness just don't do it!!! Turns out my neighbors bought a car from prestige 2 months before us and had to put 3000 dollars into the car so they could drive it. It appears their cars are under market because you'll have to pay way over market to fix it.

Disappointed and confused

It's hard enough to find a quality used car. But when you cant even get a response from a dealer it makes it all the more frustrating. After 2 emails and several phone calls I finally received a call back from the internet sales guy who found my "lead". The number he left for me to call just rings. The main line to the dealership has a full voice mail box and cannot accept any more messages. Oh well, I guess there are other places who want my money.

Top Notch Internet and Advertising Department

Over the weekend I traveled to Prestige Auto Mall which is over an hour away from me to check over a BMW that had sold same day. Which i can't be mad because i never called in about it or made an appointment as i was advised to do so. Anyways It was quite neat what they have going on there, while i was in i was able to watch two different vehicles being photographed for online inside of the building, it was soo cool. I spoke the the Internet/ Inventory Manager Matt for a bit during his photo sessions. He was a very nice guy, very soft spoken, it was nice to see in a dealership setting a good person doing what he loved and very humble about it. As we spoke i asked him who did the website, he explained that he had been very blessed to be involved with such a great dealership. This guy took on the Internet Department, the Inventory, he explained that also did all of there shipping, he was in charge of there Complaint Center with the BBB and the Ohio Attoryney General, also even managed the Detail Department. Wow. Now adays people want everything to just come to them and this young driven man was very humble, driven and enjoyed the opportunity to better himself and other around him. A man like that is invaluable.I strongly recommend going to Prestige Auto Mall for your next Vehicle, they offer top notch service at an affordable price.
