Vernon Auto Group has a large selection of vehicles and had exactly what I was looking for. I drove 7 hours from El Paso TX to buy from them. The price was great as well as the lifetime powertrain warranty that came with the truck was a big factor in my purchase.

The employees were friendly. I got fair price for my trade in. Sales person worked very hard to get me into a vehicle. How ever I'm having some trouble with my truck. It only has 41,000 miles on it and is out of warranty. The over all sales experience was great though.

Great Truck

The entire transaction took place on the phone. A few pictures were exchanged. I was offered a very good trade-in price and the deal was done. I went to Vernon, TX from Enid, OK to pick up the truck. When I got to the dealership I was treated extremely well. I felt as if we had known each other for years. The truck was better than I had expected and they seemed to very pleased with my trade-in. Great place.

Not the Best, But not the Worse

This car buying experience started off pretty good. Contacted dealership concerning a car I found on their website. Sounded like a good deal, so I put down a $500 deposit over the phone so I would be sure the car was available. When I arrived at the dealership the next morning, the car had issues that were not present in the photos that appeared online. This was very discouraging. When the dealership states the online price is the lowest price, they are not joking. They would not even take a little off for the issues on the car that did not appear in the photos. However, I continued with the process. They gave me for my trade what it was worth and they did a good job finding me a very low interest rate. The buying process took way to long for what needed to be done. This process took me about 3 hours. That is not bad, but it could have been a lot quicker based on the fact we already had established the pricing on the car being purchased. After all was done... I had to wait on my car for 3 hours to be cleaned. After finally getting into my car, the chemical smell was so strong, my pregnant wife, who was with me during the process, did not even feel comfortable riding in it! I had to leave the windows and the sunroof open for a couple of days to get that nasty smell out of it. After saying all that, the price on the car I purchased was a very good price. They are slow, not very friendly (the main guys never spoke to me, even though I was sitting at the desk right next door to theirs!) and I would not let them detail or clean the inside of your vehicle before leaving. So, if you find a car you like at this dealership, make sure you know all the details and issues with the car before buying and get as much done over the phone as you can before going to the dealership.

Great Experience

After a couple of weeks going from dealership to dealership and looking all over the internet, I somehow stumbled across Vernon Auto Group's website. After searching for about 5 minutes, I found the exact vehicle that other dealers couldn't get for me. I called the dealership and initially spoke with a sales person. He explained their sales process and we went over the vehicle. I then spoke with sales support who took all of my trade and credit info. All of which took about 10 minutes. Fifteen minutes after I got off of the phone, I received a phone call from the salesman who gave me my trade amount as well as the rate and term. Needing to discuss the vehicle with my wife, he sent me a quote to my email as well as the manufacturers invoice. Who does that? I got to see exactly what the dealership paid for the vehicle I was about to buy! I later called back, gave a credit card deposit to hold the vehicle as I couldn?t make it until the next day. That easy? I was stunned! The next day I was greeted and was taken to my sales person who had all of my paperwork ready. All I had to do was sign the paper in finance, which took all of 10 minutes! Everybody from sales to finance were very helpful and friendly! I never felt like I was being pushed to make any decision! I will definitely tell everybody I know to choose Vernon Auto Group for a great car buying experience!

First Time Buyer

As it was my first car to purchase on my own, I was terrified of being taken advantage of with the price. I searched online for a couple of months and found myself frequenting Vernon Auto Group?s website after seeing several of their cars on cars.com. They had the exact car I wanted in just about every color! I gave them a call and was relieved when they told me that they were non-negotiating. I felt like at that point everything I had been worrying about was gone. I knew that I was getting the best deal as they were the cheapest by a couple thousand dollars. I arrived at the dealership with my grandfather around 11 on day and after a quick lunch with him I was on my way home in my first brand new car! Everything was so easy and everyone was very helpful. My granddad said that he had never had an experience that great. He was so impressed he came the very next week to buy a truck! I will recommend anybody to buy a car from Vernon Auto Group!
