Great deal, terrible customer service

I wish I could say that I enjoyed buying a vehicle from them, however, this process has been extensive. My husband and I went on a Saturday to test drive our Escape which we quickly decided was our next family vehicle. We talked numbers with James Patrick who is not very knowledgeable or professional when it comes to selling cars. All of us decided that we would return on a Tuesday and all was set and ready to go, or so we thought. Tuesday comes around and the finance manager isn't in. We got financing through our bank and had all the required documentation needed from the bank but because the finance manager wasn't in the office, we needed a check for the amount of the car from our bank for the amount of the vehicle (which our bank said they'd never and wouldn't do but for the dealership to FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS ON THE DEALER LETTER). This is currently a week later, and my husband has to go back up there to fill out another credit application because the finance manager wasn't in last Tuesday so now that he is, another application is needed. We still have not received a check for sales tax which we had rolled into our loan and since we had financing through our bank, the dealership said the bank would send us a check (come to find out...they won't do that, the dealership is supposed to do that to. Maybe it is simply the salesperson who doesn't know how to do his job, but this has been the worst car buying experience I have ever experienced and wouldn't recommend this place to my dog.

Quick, easy, friendly, best prices around

We started to look for a newer Ford Escape earlier this year. We live about 1/2 way between KC and Topeka and there were certainly a lot of choices in dealers. We took the drive up to Gower and they more inventory than most of the other dealers we looked at. We didn't buy because I wanted to check more styles and prices. We spent every night the next week driving all over KC and Topeka. Dennis Sneed not only had the best prices but that next weekend he had gotten even more options for us! Their professionalism, stock, and prices are WELL WORTH the drive; you'll save a few thousand!

great service,very friendly and informed.

We were real pleased with salesman Richard . He showed us all the cars in our price range and offered test drives. It took too long to get the car ready to go but that was not his fault. We are very happy with our car so far and have been recommending Sneed Ford to others.

No pressure dealership

Our decision to buy a Ford Edge Limited Awd from Dennis Sneed Ford was purely based on a great price and the exact vehicle were looking for. We did not expect the friendliness and relaxed feel of the dealership. They even had a dog running free inside, Our salesmen was Baron Washington what a wonderful person to buy a car from. He has that special gift of making you feel so comfortable and relaxed. I only wish the dealership was right around the corner, but was well worth the trip. When it comes to buying another car this dealership will be the first one we check out on the internet.

Purchase of 2011 black Ford Edge

Spent a great deal of time researching online and found what I wanted at Denis Snead Ford. We worked with Richard Carnahan and Denis. They were both very helpful and got us into our new/used car. Would definitely recommend Snead Ford to anyone looking for a used vehicle. Great experience!

Great Experience

We had a great experience at Dennis Sneed Ford. They showed a Ford Escape Limited on the internet that we were interested in and they had it in stock. Baron was great to work with, very knowledgeable, and did not pressure us. They had the best price in a 200 mile radius.

Fantastic Purchase Experience

Dennis Sneed Ford showed my wife and me the best car buying experience we've had in a long time. I called the dealer to look at a used Chrysler Sebring convertible they advertised on the Internet. They still had it in stock, but informed me that they had another one that was in showroom condition. They did not pressure me in any way, but they just stated the facts. When I got to the dealer, Richard let my inspect both cars thoroughly. Although the two convertibles were over 10 years old, they were both in excellent condition. As I was discussing it, Mr. Sneed drove up to us and introduced himself. He told me the story behind the immaculate convertible and recommended that I buy it. Although I had my own financing, he offered to talk to his Ford finance team personally in order to make sure we could make the purchase. I bought the car in less than an hour. The bulk of the time we spent in the transaction was my inspection of it, speaking to my bank on the phone, and talking things over with my wife. Mr. Sneed has a great personality and his sales and service team are superb! He had an employee with a minor injury that day, and I could tell he cared about his team because he was inquiring regularly about how he was doing until he showed up right before he left. We came to the dealer near the close of business. We've all heard the stories of sales people "ready to go" and losing their edge at the end of the day. Well, we did not experience that at all. In fact, several of the employees worked with us so that we would feel comfortable even though they were getting ready to close. One employee gave us new mugs with the Ford logo. Another, helped us with our bank transaction. Great experience, and I got a 12 year old car that everyone thinks is brand new!!! I highly recommend this dealer with or without your family. THANK YOU ALL FOR A GREAT EXPERIENCE!

Very smooth!

Everything was very smooth, easy and a great price to boot. I know where I will be purching my next car. And Baron was very friendly and happy to help and answer my questoins.

Purchase of my Lincoln

Dennis Snead Ford was a great experience. My sales consultant Richard Carnahan was awesome! I don't care for pushy sales people and Rich made it a very smooth transition, and was a true gentleman. If any of the people I'm in contact with I would highly recommend this dealership. Was treated like I was the only person there. I purchased a 2012 Lincoln MKZ--perfect!!!! JLHoskins

The "Sneed Effect"

What a pleasant experience. My wife was looking for a newer model Ford Escape. We actually went to Dennis Sneed Ford first to look at a vehicle she was interested in. We thought there would be no way that the first dealer we went to would have the best deal! We went to other Ford dealers in Olathe, Topeka, and Lawrence. All had comparable vehicles but none provided the low pressure and friendly atmosphere that we first encountered at Dennis Sneed Ford. We ended up going back to Sneed and worked with Salesman Baron Washington Jr. We enjoyed a informative conversation with owner Dennis Sneed himself while Baron made sure my wife picked exactly the vehicle she wanted. Wow! That was easy. Great experience, great prices, great service!
