Not bad could be better
Bought a truck that had a problem they are fixing but didnt tell me that when i signed the papers the truck wouldnt be ready. They kept trying to push the extended warranty and when you say no they kept trying to sell you reduced versions of one. When you tell them no on something you figure they would stop trying to include the service plan into the payment. Overall salesman was nice and friendly and everyone was polite and very helpful. Just dont care for the service plan pushing and trying to almost sneak one into my contract.

Friendly, but not totally honest up front...
We looked at 2 different vans and test drove both. We decided to go with the second van and filled out the paperwork and gave them the title to our vehicle. we were told the van needed to be detailed and we could come the next afternoon to get the van. They call and tell us to come on down, When we get there we are told that they also want cash down along with my trade...WTH? this had not been discussed and the salesman had told us our trade-in was our down payment. We drove over 45 minutes to get to this car lot each time. we made 3 different trips and on the last one we got our vehicle title back and decided we will go elsewhere to get a van. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!

Experience was going well..but..
My 18yo son and I came to Pilson's to look for a dependable car for him to drive to college. We tried dealing on one and could not get it done so they put us in another nice car to try. We came to terms and the salesman returned and shook my son's hand congratulating him on his new car. One problem...no deal from the bank yet. He called later and said the bank wants more money down. Don't congratulate me untile the deal is done and you are handing me the keys.

Not a Dealership,They are a family
I have never been a fan of dealerships or car salesmen,I have been to a couple of dealerships that looked at me and my lack of credit history and said"WE CAN NOT HELP YOU" Than I met Jim Javens, First we met over the phone. He made me feel very relaxed, He took his time and walked me thru everything from filling out the paperwork to listening to my and my families needs, He than told me that he would do what he could to help us out and that he would contact me, That I did not need to come to the dealership until he had me pre approved, He contacted me 2 days later with a approved amount and than we set up a time for us to come and meet him, Our meeting was like seeing and old friend that I have not seen in years..He told us our options and let us look and decide what we wanted,,It was a no pressure experience. when we decided what we wanted he worked with us and got us the best deal..He and the whole Pilson group have been nothing but warm and caring for me and my families needs..The vehicle we picked had a front brake shimmy and he had the repair done. He than put us in a loaner car for the day and night while the repair was done..CAN YOU SAY WOW!!!!That shocked me and made me a customer for life...I have told evryone I know that are thinking of buying a used or new car to call..as my 10year old daughter say's..UNCLE JIM

Pilson Auto Center of Charleston was great! I went around to several dealers that didn't give me the time of day! My sales guy, Austin Pruett, was great! He took great care of us and we felt like we made a true friend out of the deal. I love the car and couldn't ask for more!
